Hello, everyone. Been following for months now. Aside from our usual grabbag of BP related garbage(there's still oil out there), I have recently
become appalled by the fact that Louis Armstrong Airport is one of the early airports chosen for the full body scanners. The privacy and dignity
issues alone are reason to have problems with these devices. Also, it's a little extra radiation to blast us with, in addition to the trace amounts
of hydrocarbons and corexit potentially in our air, water, and food. I've read a little about the "opt out" option but it sounds like the TSA will
go out of their way to humiliate you and/or intimidate you if you actually attempt this legal option. Any frequent fliers out there have experience
with this issue?
