explosions, riots, social degradation, what wouuld you do

so yesterday im walkin down the street and all of a sudden a car explodes a block in front of me, then like 2-3 minutes later i look away from this insane scene and a block behind me a group of nazis ( a racists gang in my town ) is blocking off the street. they start throwing rocks, bottles, etc, no police, no help except fire fighters.
this topic is not about if this explosion and riot happend ( it did believe it or not i dont care)
its about what you would do in a situation like that.
some people ran
some people stood and stared
some took pictures
i myself found a good spot to see whats going on and watched society fall apart for an hour or so.

Of corse if this was a sustained even, i wouldnt be sitting around, more like getting my baby, my BOB and hoping on my bike out of town.

one thing i learned from this experiance is literally how easy people in american just abandon all sense of security and reality and go insane for a time because the just dont know what to do. it showed me how weak our civilization is, and how quickly it can be thrown into a panic from a small event

what i want you guys to do is, seriuosly consider what you would do in a situation, what would your first response be, what have you been trained to do, because THIS WILL HAPPEN, and it happens everyday all over the world

Well sad to say but you had to much faith in humanity before that day. Now i know when it comes down to the day all hell breaks loose whether its aliens,nwo,market crashing, WWIII. Large cities will be like a zombie out break. If you want my advice go find a small community that will fight for each other and not at each other.

I couldn't imagine that happening here. All violence here is mostly assaults and gang vs gang shootings. What part of the US are you from?

If the people of the town where you live in could do anything to these racist gangs, what would they do? Cheer them on or shoot them down? It's illegal to remove the threat to the community, which are the racist gangs (Just the way the elite want it)

If law and order falls, I think people would be more inclined to actually do something to combat violence in their community, which will probably fragment into neighbourhoods protecting their turf, like has happened in post-Saddam Iraq where neighbourhoods were forced to form their own militas to defend their neighbourhood.

my town is utterly corrupt, DA, police, gangs, are basically all the same, the police department is just another gang; i live in southern california, bakersfield. the people here fear the police, as much as they fear the gangs.

it is hard to imagine, it felt like a movie, it was pretty weird, ill try to get some pics up as soon as i can, people in the other boards absolutly could not accept the fact that this could happen in america, without seeing picture so i came here to see if i hear some corresponding stories and info on what to do in that situation, insted of debatind if it happened or not.

First of all I think this story is a load of crap. Where did a car just blow up on a street? Would have read about that.

My guess is your a kid looking to get a reaction. well I lived through 9/11 in NYC. Where the sh*t really did hit the fan. You should have seen the number of people helping others. It was chaos all over because no one knew what happened or what was going to happen next. Yet many people looked out for each other.

IF I was in your spot, which I again say is fictional, I would have seen if anyone was in the car. Then confronted your "gang" about what they were doing.

Sad that you just decided to go sit on the sidelines.

the reason i ran to the car was to see if anyone was in the car, and to be completely honest if there was none of us could have done anything because the fire was so intense that we couldnt get close enough, and when the fire was finally put out the inside was totally empty, everything was burned away.

i really really hope no one was in it tho

As I said I was in NYC working downtown when 9/11 went down. People do care about one another. My guess is your a kid trying to get a reaction, that you yourself don't give two cents for others around you (hopefully for your sake because your just a kid), Your post was about how people react under stress/pressure/terror, well I've seen it first hand, While the devastation that day was horrendus, I will never forget the compassion I saw. Made me proud to be a New Yorker.

If your looking to get attention there are better ways to do it. If your coming up with a story like you did, that would obviously make the news, then you ought to post it. I took about 20 seconds to google car explosion and then when you say your from Bakersfield Ca, that made my research easier. Obviously your not bright enough think it through

to be totally honest i think im just going to leave this story alone, most people here are so afraid of "being fooled" that nothing can be believed any more, fine with me, but im tired of saying the same thing over and over,

the main thing im remembering is what happened internally to me and the rest of the people around.

there was a news camera there, only one, and ive been trying to find some pictures or a story on it but ive got nothin. the news probably wouldnt have pictures of the fire, they got there after it was all said and done, however there has to be something so ima keep looking.

The OP is asking what YOU would do IF YOU were facing the described scenario.

Is it so hard to read through without reacting and debunking by auto-pilot?.

I would take cover if I wasn't directly involved,and try to figure out what the heck happened.

I saw your other post on this SAME story. The other post you get more descriptive of these "nazis". Look if you want to be looked at as someone looking to get a REAL answer here, then just ask the REAL question. Don't make up a bunch of BS, because most people will then just not take you seriously.

Have you ever seen a documentary on 9/11? How people acted? I know there are post here about HOW it really happened. For me I lost two HighSchool friends that day, I'm not as concerned about the conspiracies around it.

Come clean about your story and just ask the Real question your looking for an answer to.

What are you talking about? Just spouting some stuff then moving on. I don't deny there is racism in this world, but there is a lot more good caring people than you give credit for. Your just like the news, it's easier (or more fun for you) to go on a negative diatribe about people.

How old are you and how much of this counrty do you see? I travel a lot and see many good people. I think maybe your in highschool and still dealing with clicks. Guess what those clicks will go away in the real world. There maybe different ones, but you can make your life what you want and clicks won't make a difference.
