The question is: why the # did no one else film it with a better camera. Also in the last days there is a lot of talk about ufos on Webcams. And i really often saw some. But why in the hell....whyyyyyy in the hell is no one starting to film it with a good and motherloving expensive HD camera.

If in my city i saw some ufos on the webcam channels ..i would rent an expensive camera and film it. Drive by car even miles for it....but no all they do is saying: ahhh coool ..jeahh thats 1 hour from here.. Jeah they are coming"...ppffffffffffffffffff

Brooklyn is a big part of new york and all we got from this sighting is this messed up piece?

people are strange.
Why is there no one in this big city with a telescope camera? ?????? Now that there are sightings often how can that be that no one in huge cites film it with expensive equipment.

Its just #ed up.

there are more videos on the channel from that night so there were many chances for that guy to call friends with better equipment or anything like that...

we can film the moon in high resolution with a zoom that can show a lot of details. I want one of these cameras to film stuff like that. We are in 2010 and still there are really few clear shots. Thats just frustrating.

Unfortunately, it is very hard to conclude anything from that video.

Based on that video, I don't see how one can exclude something like flares.

This is consistent with the witness commentary as follows:

"They go down & then they disappear"

Perhaps someone can assist with some Google Earth information that might approximate some possible places where flares would be utilised.

Could the "flares" be over one of the large waterways?

Perhaps because many of the UFO sightings in huge cities have perfectly natural explanations, and most people do in fact recognize chinese lanterns, balloons, planes, helicopters RC toys and kites with LEDS for what they really are?

Just a suggestion, and no offense.

I suppose i'll be called a debunker but sadly they look like tactical flares to me. Sorry.

in a way i am just angry about the believers because i want to believe myself but findmany of them really naive in their whole style of selective perception.

I just come from a page where they celebrate obsvious hoaxes and i just want to hit them very hard.

I am very aggressive these days .

Unfortunately this falls in with the rest of the latest batch of "Light videos" that seemed to have popped up on the forums. All I can say is all of them are inconclusive at best. blurry lights at a distance that could be any number of things. I want to see good footage as bad as anyone but these floating light videos just lend themselves to arguing and speculation.

Often times I have seen planes coming in to Jersey's Newark Airport over the Watchung Reservation area
and have seen something very very similar. The flight path is in direct line with a roof top I frequent. Bright ass lights, that appear to get bigger very very slowly and appear to be just hovering when in fact they are coming straight in. First couple times freaked me out and I did record it. After the 3rd or 4th time i realized what I was seeing was an illusion.

Could this be possibly be planes coming into La Guardia or JFK?!

Not sure of any specifics in the photo (directions etc).

I looked at the rest of the videos.

There are times when the objects do look more like planes than flares.

However it's all so jerky & fuzzy, it's hard to see anything much at all.

these are not balloons. They move in patterns and separate them self later (not tied together as u can see). Did u ever see balloons move like that?
watch the whole thing if u have not already done so.

DO ME A FAVOUR. make an experiment and let balloons fly and film it.
I just saw it 6 weeks ago and jeah: i could say-> the first minute i could have thought they look like ufos but they disapear really fast and they are not moving as abrupt as in the new york video.

i agree. this is new york city...world class nyc, if you can make it there you can make it anywhere. my point is confirmation is not that hard to get...stop scratching your heads...i already spoke with new yorkers who were in the city that day. that did not debunk the sitings at all...they are more concerned about the bed bug issue. ufo sitngs "why us?" were my friends thoughts...so lets get these sitings confiirmed and filed under X. thanx.

My money is on planes coming out of a stack into Laguardia.

If they are heading straight forward, and then turn on approach, then the landing lights will appear to disappear.

Just a guess mind, but considering the witness (watch his other videos) I think its more than possible.

well, the camera appears to be aimed East, as if it were west, you would see the manhattan skyline. that means that there is no waterways. just queens. and while there are two major airports in queens - laguardia and JFK, i have never seen lights like those. the airplanes are always very clear to define.

have there been any other reports of this sighting?
