In Regards to 2012

I'm an enthusiastic conspiracy theorist, I like stories, the stranger the better. I have had many experiences in my life that have lead me down this path, and caused me to question "mainstream reality". One opinion I've become more firm on in my searching, and in my life, is that we are to some extent the masters of our destiny.

I believe our "destiny" is largely determined by the attitude we assume in life. I don't believe it's something as esoteric as they would like you to believe in movies such as "The Secret" and "What the Bleep do We Know". It's simply this, if you are thinking negatively, you're setting yourself up for failure. Conversely, if you're a positive person, you have a better ability to recognize opportunity when it comes your way.

I think we should keep this in mind with regard to 2012. It's logical to assume that if you put a bunch of pissed off people together, SHTF. Look at the world we are living in, every time we turn on the TV, we are bombarded by horrible negative information. While being informed is important, I think the level at which we receive this information is toxic to us as individuals, and as a society.

I'm not just talking about the News, I'm also talking about the trash we watch for entertainment, and of course the constant barrage of advertisements we see every day. All these things pit culture against culture, race against race, brother against brother, men against women, gay against straight, right against left, the list goes on and on. All these things enforce the feeling of want in our lives, and serve to isolate and alienate us from our brothers and sisters on this planet.

Now, I'm not saying nothing will happen on 2012, in fact I'm saying quite the opposite. Many people including myself have a "gut" feeling about 2012, but does that have to mean something bad will happen? Perhaps if we change our attitudes it might be something positive, instead of a world wide catastrophe. And if we do get a world wide catastrophe, maybe our chances of surviving it might be better if we are able to at the very least respect our neighbors on this planet, learn to trust one another?

I think we would also stand a much better chance individually and a society, of surviving some sort of cataclysmic event if we replaced the time spent watching the trash on TV with more noble pursuits such as learning, growing your own food, creating your own energy, creating music, or art. All of these things are way more fulfilling then having the TV tell you how much you lack.

Think of it this way even if nothing happens in 2012; you'll have the satisfaction of saying you know how to do these things, and you have put some effort into making yourself and by default, the world, better in the process.

Nothing like the power of positive thinking. It's helped me over the years. In regards to 2012, I can't wait.

I know what ya saying there at this point in time I'm setting up a decent size vege garden getting solar panels put on the roof of my house. Then there is in the very near future working out how all his hydrogen splitting from water works and how to feed it to an engine. I'm getting prepped even buying a still for not only alcohol but for distilling water so it's drinkable and have dust masks for that just in case part.

I may sound like a nut but always pays to be prepared for even something that may happen after the date or before but I wont be ready if something happens earlier lol.

It is going to be a period of enlightenment, not doom.

They want to dumb you down enough so you cannot realize what its all about all along. ENERGY.

And i am definitely not talking about the materialistic kind.

Me too, I think it really can do wonders... There might be some truth to the whole quantum physics side of your thoughts creating reality, but either way I think it at least puts you in the right mindset to get things done, and that's what really counts.

I don't think you sound like a nut at all, I think those are all worthwhile things to be doing, and neat to boot. My husband and I rent an apartment at the moment, but we're making plans with my parents (who have a farmette) in case SHTF.

What a strange syncronicity, I just finished reading Plato's Apology before I switched tabs to check on this thread and saw your screen name there. Cool. I've done some reading on the 2012 energy thing, it sounds interesting, do you have any links I could check out to further my studies on the subject?

There are a lot of 2012 threads on AST to many to even start to count. I ask how many nuggets of truth are there in all of the pages that go to some where. I do have to say the one thing that I have always come across is the question as to how it will affect us? Or how are we going to react? Or what is this world going to put us through.

All in all does any of it really matter, for all of it is out of our control. What can we control ?

I can't control anyone, what they do, or think or say or feel. So what is 2012 all about, why are you alive at this time what are you here to experience, and why are there so many people on this planet at this time. How many more are there going to be? What out side influences are there E.T.s, grays, light beings, 5th 6th 7th dimensional beings.
What roll do they have in all of this. What other E.T.s wants to see us fail, entrap our souls keep us from seeing the truth.

What is the truth, who knows the truth, who speaks the truth, is the truth out there or is it in here, in side of us.
There are a lot of question that need to be answered that may bring up more questions?

Where does it end ? Who will end it? What will end it ?

There is one thing that I believe and that I know, no matter what, there are 6+ billion people on this plant there has never bin any type of extinction of any race that has left it's mark on this planet that we could find. What I mean by that is if there where 6+ billion people before us and they all died where are all there bones we would be digging them up left right and center.

We are all here for a reason, what it is is debatable, we are 6+ billion souls of energy on this little world we are the star attraction for all of the other space races to see they are all stepping all over each other just to be one of the 6+ billions souls on this planet. The question is why why would they want to be on a soon to be dead world.

Funny that is, why are you here at this time what made you come here to be living here at this time to see 2012 come. Why why you why me why any of us why exist at all?

The truth is a funny thing you know it's like a good mystery alway hiding in places where you least expect it to be. Or it is so unbelievable that it could be right in front of you and you can't even see it with your own eyes!

You see the truth of the matter is it's unbelievable what is going to happen but we see it every day around us just like the sun light we see it every day but we just don't see it funny how that works but it's the truth.

Yes this is a mystery one that movies have bin made about it but did you see it the truth did you.

The clues are every where to the truth of 2012 that is, you just need to see it to know what 2012 is all about.

I agree, that question does get raised a lot. Perhaps we will create what we want to happen. I read somewhere that there will be a "split". I don't know what will happen, but I think that's part of the excitement.

I think the only thing we can really control is ourselves...or our reactions. Which is why I posted this here... I feel like media is gearing up to make people scared, hurt, angry, and a whole host of other negative emotions. I experience them too. But I have the ability to turn off the TV when it starts to get to me, and do something fulfilling that makes me happy. That's all you can really do. The only thing you can control is yourself.

Hmmm. I'm going to say here in regards to what I posted about media, It could be extra-dimensional aliens feeding off our negative energy, but who's to say? It's more likely that it's ratings, people are addicted to the "big stories" so that's what they give us. No one watches the happy stuff, the educational stuff, which is sad. Reptilians or not, the fact is we allow that to happen, and we could take responsibility for that instead of blaming it all on aliens.

Who says it will end? That's just one scenario, there are as many of those as there are people on this planet I think..

Its a valid point. I have nearly quit watching TV years ago expect certain programs and things that makes sense. But if i start to cultivate my own food, how would anyone help me? Am a visualizer/cg artist and i find peace of mind in it as you said. Positive thinking enhances our attitude but trust me there are not many people available to match my interests or my goals.

People generally are comfortable watching soaps, reality-shows and meaningless things in the name of entertainment. And thats their way of living. They have a thinking that its the beginning and end of life. If one doesn't relate to them, he/she is termed a nut and is usually avoided. Thats people for you. They will do anything and everything to just keep entertaining themselves forgetting the fact that this entertainment solves nothing. Its not going to give us answers that we have been searching for. Its a mess out there. Lets accept and move on.

I could use some clarification on what you mean by how would anyone help you if you start to cultivate your own food. In what way are you speaking of, helping you cultivate food, or something else? The internet sometimes looses the meaning of the conversation/context.

As far as CG/visualizing... I think you could say that has it's basis in art right? So there are some basic things you would still be able to have conversation about. Also you might find satisfaction showing people how those things work, and how they are important. I find them interesting myself, I do a lot of work with photoshop, and I just started trying to figure out this 3D rendering program, which is a bit of a challenge, but still fun.

As far as the last part goes... I'm not really looking to change the masses or anything.. The main reason I post this stuff is to get all the crap floating around in my head out so I don't go nuts, I think it's also nice to get feedback, so I can grow my opinions on different subjects, and solidify them if you will, it's fun.

Well I can't tell you why I think this date thought it long before the movie came out it's just wierd there is just a feeling i have .

Now it's not only population it's the fact that even our monetary system is looking at being destroyed and debts are climbing right up.

I ask you a question what will China do if debts aren't paid by the countries that have borrowed money or have been bailed out by China there are few things that look like they are going to converge around this time I myself believe breaking point isn't that far away especially when one super power looks like it will be left behind like Russia was.

The greatest danger would be a pole shift. I suspect that if all the planets are currently going through changes, then it's most likely that all the planets go through pole shifts during the same time. If NASA refuses to update the public about the other planets current pole shifts when they happen, then the public might not have much warning through such physical evidence.

Rapid pole shifts do not happen. Geologists know that there have been no pole shifts in the last 200 million years. One established pole shift event happened 800 million years ago. That one took 15 million years to occur. Pole shifts are suggested by Hapgood and Hancock do not happen. There is no reason to suggest that such an event would be tied into similar events on other celestial bodies. If you want to find information on pole shifts in the scientific literature you need to look for TPWs, or true polar wanderings.

That's encouraging to know that pole shifts don't happen suddenly. Though there's always a chance some freak thing could happen like a comet or something of a similar nature, at this point I'm inclined to think that whatever happens, if something happens, will be our own doing.

Pole shifts in the geological past have happened on the order of meters per year. This is 10x or more faster than the movement due to plate tectonics. An impact from a celestial object would do more damage from the impact than from the resulting TPW that might occur due to the impact.

One is that just north and south changes over with the earth still spinning the way it is now.
As our magnetic field gets weaker and weaker so that the pole shift can happen, earth will be subjected to all of the cosmic rays that are out there. We are all at this point protected from. So a slow pole shift is not in our best interest. On top of that the Sun is going through it's own pole shift, with it's weaker magnetic bubble. Not protecting us as much right now as well, so in some way we are in for double trouble.

The other type that has only bin read in old scriptures is that the sun comes up in the west the other way after a pole shift. Yes this means the earth will spin the other way, how can that happen well the question is why could it not happen it's just as unbelievable as all the strange things that this universe is showing us, never say never all laws that we think we know and predict are just assumptions based on observation, if we don't see it then how could it happen. Quantum mechanics shows us that all things are possible and that this reality is capable of all things no matter how out of the world it might seem that this is possible and will happen we just have not seen it yet.

I was talking about a pole change that reverses the Earth's rotation. I was thinking a comet might cause something like that. As far as a magnetic pole change goes, that could cause a lot of problems just from a technological standpoint.

the end will come before 2020 not 2012.
the sun will destroy the planet, just as it destroyed mars.
the enlightenment of man is in truth of his mortality. all eyes will turn towards the heavens to seek salvation and safety during the apocalypse of mans doom.

there is less than 10 years left and the government knows this and isn't telling you, while they prepare to leave.

The only thing I have against what you say stereo is if they happen metres per year why was a wooly mammoth found to still have food in it's mouth this sort of suggests it was rapid and not slow as first described unless you have read another cause about it.

Also has anyone seen on here anything about lunar cooling and the fact it's shrinking or heard any other info about it
