Why would an ET UFO have flashing lights

Well I`m thinking they use them for the same reason we do. And have no need to turn them off here by the way. We can`t catch them so why not.
And even if they are from the future slipping in and out of here made by humans. It could be a law to have them just as we do on cars.

I bet the aliens ask their higher ups the same question. Why do we have to have those lights on there? They respond back don`t know but they have them so so should we.
