Could not find any post regarding the stranded montauk monster, so though I would do just that.. and perhaps I got some pictures you have not seen

Montauk Monster is just like a weird raccoon. According to latest dental models of the Montauk Monster and on the basis of the results it’s agreed that this is actually a weird raccoon. Montauk Monster was allegedly found dead at the business district of Montauk, New York in 2008. The rumor of the Montauk Monster is spreading like a fire as rumors spread just like the rumors of fake news, speculations and arguments. Montauk Monster is a creature or animal which was found dead on the Montauk Beach. The discovery of the Montauk Monster was first published by The Independent Magazine in 2008. Carefree article suggests that there may be a turtle or some mutant experiment from Plum Island Animal Disease Center before noting that Larry Penny, East Hampton Natural Resources Director, concluded it was a raccoon with its upper jaw missing. The article concluded that “someone took … to be buried … we hope.” the local newspaper quoted an unidentified woman, who claimed that the animal was only the size of a cat, and was decomposed into a skeleton while press coverage. Merciful Heavens! That is one ugly critter. You would think that the scientists involved would at

least produce something that was "pleasing" to the eye. I mean seriously, what is the desired end result here,

a creature that can integrate in the mainstream or scare the wits out of us. If I worked on Plum Island

I'd be opting for a gorgeous something that would have no problem spreading it's altered DNA

among woman kind and producing lots of hybrid babies.
