Iran, Venezuela leaders seek 'New World Order'

TEHRAN, Iran — The leaders of Iran and Venezuela hailed what they called their strong strategic relationship on Wednesday, saying they are united in efforts to establish a "new world order" that will eliminate Western dominance over global affairs.

Together, both Venezuela and Iran just may be able to peel back at least a little of our empire, though they only have a chance through currency. Several years ago Iran started a commodities market called the Iranian Oil Bourse or IOB and if the countries who are opposed to our empire (generally the "Axis of Evil" countries) can stick together and trade through this ulternate market using any other currencies than the USD (as well as manage to dodge all coup attempts, rigged elections, economic hitmen and/or military invasions), then they have a shot a destroying the basis of the American empire (more like a western empire).

You see, our empire is an economic empire and the whole thing revolves around the USD being the dominate currency. If the USD is displaced by another currency, then the whole power base of the west probably will crumble, seeing that the USD is only worth anything because it is the international standard for trading commodities. The entire west relies on the USD's supremecy, so any threat to that is a threat to the west's empire.
