And you easily believed them?

Edgar Mitchell, the 6th man to step on the moon claims that the US government is hiding the truth about UFOs and aliens. Do you believe him?

there's a huge stack of evidence showing that it was them, then they confirmed it.

it has absolutely nothing to do with ed mitchel whatsoever, whether i believe him or not is totally irrelevant to this incident.

thanks

I just want to know if you believe what Ed Mitchell is saying. There are also stacks of evidence to validate his claims.

Btw, that "huge stack of evidence" that you are saying is not being validated by the US military. Do you think that the US military is that dumb not to know that there are skydivers doing that at night. Aren't they "skydiving" in the area of the US military?

Could be. . .that makes sense. I guess I can't blame them, we all need to feel that we've made the world think sometimes. I'd probably do something similar. . .actually I guess I'd just pretend that I hadn't heard of the lights,
OR, I'd say "What you saw was a light like nothing you've ever seen. One day, when you finish adding it all up, you're gonna wish you'd made this phone call ten minutes earlier." then I'd just hang up.

Is it possible that the reason he responded to you like he did, was because they weren't supposed to be practicing that night?

He neither confirmed or denied -- to me it sounds like it's possible that they may have been doing something they weren't supposed to be doing, therefore they just decided to play dumb here.

Not saying it definitely was some sort of UFO(s) but is this not possible either?

sounds like hes taking the piss tbh. I mean if someone asks me if i ate the last chocolate biscuit i respond "i can neither confirm or deny those allegations"

i bet he doesnt realise how mentally ill some folks are regarding this subject and they would take his comment as some sort of confirmation of their belief. Its a joke to most normal people and he's treating it as such.

Yes. That's why I am so glad that I am not "normal". Such people are so uninteresting and dull.

I saw the video and it looked NOTHING like skydivers....Since when do skydivers leave a trail of flames like meteors when diving? Since when does one skydiver turn into three skydivers and a fourth one appears out of thin air? and since when do skydivers freeze in the air and hover? They weren't floating downward as if divers deployed parachutes. Since the Golden Knights are associated with the military, they will tell people anything to hide what was really up in the sky.

Due to this "over the fence" attitude I have to assume for good that It was them. If it wasn't they would simply say "All I can inform you is that the Golden Knights were not involved with this in any way shape or form".

Since they didn't, I'm pretty certain it was them and now they are laughing theirs butts off about this whole thing and the people that were thinking those were alien crafts prepping to invade earth.

I asked: "Could you confirm that the "strange lights in the sky" over el paso on the night of the 15th of October were indeed caused by your characteristic night jumps? The story was broadcast on the local el paso television news." They responed: "We just saw the newscast this morning about it. And we can neither confirm nor deny what the lights were."

Thanks for posting this. I think this may have been mentioned earlier in the thread, but the most likely explanation is that it was a relatively poor response meaning they can't confirm for certain that the footage in question was actually of them.

Since their initial response was very literal to the question asked, it might be a good idea to ask if they did indeed perform a night jump using flares in that area on 10/15 and what time was the jump(s)?

ive said it once but i'll repeat it just for you, edgar mitchel is absolutely nothing to do with this.

my thoughts on edgar mitchel are totally irrelevant to this thread, if you want to make a thread on edgar mitchel then feel free and i will certainly make comment there.

yes the u.s military can be dumb as can many country's military, how many blue on blue incidents have happened in wars in the last decade?, i think you might find that one area of military doesn't keep an eye on every single bit, and many things will just be left to the base commanders to decide!, do you honestly think that one person knows where every single troop is at any given moment?....

the u.s military has confirmed it because the knights themselves are u.s military, there's two threads full of evidence showing it was them and they have confirmed it so therefore i am totally convinced it was them.

now if you believe it wasn't and can prove otherwise then go right ahead, i await your evidence?.

thanks

I'll be the odd person out and say they don't look like the same thing to me.I do not think in any way so far has it been proven one way or the other what those lights were.

As I see it this is just another example of.................... was it or wasn't it.

Neither was absolute proof....and if the Knights why are there no films of them landing. I would think if you are filming them you would get something of them landing on the ground.

Many here on ATS are way to fast to call fake of hoax without some type of full scale investigation. Many times there could be more then one event happening at the same time.

Purely on the basis of my own prior experience in "government employment", I'd have to agree with members who say that the Golden Knights are probably not in a position to comment too much on what are actually operational matters -- certainly not via very public, electronic media. There does not need to be anything sinister in their response; they just cannot confirm or deny. They are, after all, military, and there are officers who are the designated points of contact if people want to make specific enquiries.

I therefore find it a bit odd that SGT Medley apparently posted the comments she did elsewhere on another, very public site, unless she is the designated person. Could be that she is; it doesn't need to be the team leader (SFC William Fleming at present). In that case, though, it seems strange that the reply received by the OP is so non-committal, unless they (or she) are/is simply more wary of Facebook -- or maybe she just wasn't around at the time and another team member replied to our OP. I guess it really could be that simple.

I posted on the original thread from Friday or Saturday that it was probably the Golden Knights jumping for the kick-off party that occurs the Friday night of every El Paso Airsho dating back almost 20 years. These parties are not open to the public, which is why you won't see the date listed on any posters for the Amigo Airsho. It is open only to the volunteers and sponsors. I used to work those parties for a local beer distributor. Here is a story from KTSM TV, the ones who started it all when they posted the video without making any phone calls or practicing responsible, basic journalism, stating that it WAS the Golden Knights, and not a UFO.

^ He raises a good point. And which one is the light of the plane they hopped out of" ? All three look the same and i don't think the light from a plane would be equivalent to the flares the golden knights use.
