Hello,

I recently put in a suggestion to the Mods that the Moon should have its own forum. I mean, Isn't one of the greatest conspiracy theories ever that we didn't actually land on the moon? I'm not personally a supporter of THAT, but I do think there are plenty of mysteries regarding the Moon and I think it is deserving of its own forum.

Thanks for any support anyone can offer to get this done.

This is an excellent idea, but I wouldn't simply limit it to just the moon. There are many conspiracies regarding other planets, moon, the sun etc.

One of my favorite topics about the Moon is why is it so different from the Earth? It's older, doesn't contain water while the Earth is what, 70% water? It has different metals and It's basically an alien body that doesn't seem to belong here.

Thanks, that's a good Idea. What would you call it? The Solar System Forum?

We read your suggestion and decided that there is no need for a moon forum, as we already have the Space Exploration Forum

Thank you for letting me know it was looked at.
That's unfortunate. Isn't the Moon a little "closer to home" ?

Suggestion:

As Sauron mentioned, the "Space Exploration Forum" covers it well enough....for instance, the questions you asked here:

...why is it so different from the Earth? It's older, doesn't contain water while the Earth is what, 70% water? It has different metals and It's basically an alien body that doesn't seem to belong here...

All have valid answers, that do NOT encompass any need for a "conspiracy". But, by posing questions, in a thread in that Forum, there are plenty of members who will point in the direction for answers.

Note: Many of your assumptions, as quoted above, seem to stem from a number of misconceptions....a thread will clear those up.
