Wow at around :40 seconds buddy swoops over to the left for a second and there appears to be a bunch of lights together....

Also the light at the first of the video, to me, appears to be pulsating.

I think some time passed.

I'm surprised the video was so short, why not record until they disappear? Suspicious.

I've just watched all 4 videos, as a seasoned festival go'er, I'm telling you all these are Chinese lanterns, the way they drift up to a certain height then float along, flicker and glow etc etc.

Everywhere you go in this country people are releasing them, most probably because they are so readily available, and cheap (£1 per lantern cheapest I have found in a shop, funnily enough, a pound shop).

I assure you we will probably see a surge in these "video sightings" until people get bored with them and move on to the next awe inspiring fad.

EDIT: Tell you all what, next time I am up town, I will buy 5 of these bloody things, and go up the slag bank (local hill made from slag tipping) and release them, I will record video as I am releasing them and I will get someone to stand 1/4 to 1/2 a mile away and record video too, hopefully it will help put this craziness behind us

Lul, good idea bro. I'm gunna wait before I call this one though. It could turn out to be chinese lanterns, but I have personally seen 3 UFO's in my lifetime and they looked like the objects in the videos, even behaved like them for a while, but then started to perform areal manouvers that lanterns, or any aircraft I know of, cannot perform.

They do look like classic Chinese lanterns. A longer video might have helped to see if they eventually went out.

From Jupiter to skydivers, to balloons, and Chinese lanterns
I think the skeptics are the ones whom are paranoid.

And also if they were and are Chinese lanterns why dont you try it and do the same act as in the video?

Heres a site where you can buy multi packs fairly cheap, mods I'n sorry if this is breaking any rules on advertising, that is not my intention, I came across this site doing a google search, my point is that they can be picked up stupidly cheap.

HAHAHA!!! I just love this statement. And the next poster who said "Jupiter. It's always Jupiter." You people just made my day! Let me just pitch in and say that obviously the Knights of whatever from El Paso, Texas decided to go hover over London.

We saw about 30 of these glowing orange shapes flying from the north to south west at a steady speed, it was a clear night with no wind, so i dont think they were anything being blown by the wind, it seemed they had there own propulsion of some sort by the way they were moving.

So apparently this guy, or girl, saw about 30 of them....I'm leaning towards lanterns. Still searching though.

To add this was on the 15th, the video in the OP was on the 16th.

Another video which illstrates how many lights there were, the poster didn't think they were lanterns, but that doesn't mean they weren't

On here some guy named Wilbert claimed to have watched them for 5 minutes break apart and move in ways lanterns do not. This of course doesn't prove it any way, probably just creates more confusion becuase I don't know Wilbert personally but, atleast people are talking about it on other forums.....

I'm really getting tired of these comments. How would you like it if we make fun or your guesses?

"What is it now? The Pleiadians? The Greys? The Galactic Federation of Light come to save humanity on their slow light ships? Is it the Reptilians coming to eat your brains? Or how about the soul harvesters? Or maybe those alien gods are here to steel all your gold? Maybe it's Jesus! Or Santa Claus!"

Are you people not aware of the fact that people actually do misidentify mundane things? Are you not aware that sometimes people mistake Jupiter and Venus for a space ship because of their lack of knowledge? Or that balloons (even weather balloons), and Chinese lanterns, RC aircraft, kites, birds, insects, comets, basically everything that is airborne including DUST particles have been called a "UFO" at one point or another?

Don't ridicule people who are trying to explain things that are unexplained, some things that are unexplained are easily explainable. It's far worse to not even try to explain it at all, or make up wild explanations that may not even exist.

Anyway.... this particular sighting looks to be like Chinese lanterns . It shouldn't be a problem for people to make such an observation / guess, unless you are in denial.

VenomVile, it's impossible to make anything but a triangle or a line with three points. They call triangles "primitive shapes" for a reason. They are primitive and can happen naturally between three points.

I would be more impressed if they made a pentagon or hexagon which are also primitive shapes but more complex and would be less probable to happen on accident.

All of the sightings/misidentifications makes me want to experiment with Chinese lanterns in my area. They did that on a new Syfy show recently. They weren't able to get them off the ground without burning up. Can't wait for more to come out.

I have seen these lights also myself there are 2 and they usually move together in unison across the sky with no sound, gee one even went over me and my partner last week whilst walking, very strange indeed

and no it wasn't jupiter as jupiter was the opposite way in the sky

It's just every single UFO topic that comes out you got people saying, "swamp gas, balloons, fireflies, kites, whats next debunkers?", as if people are sitting around just making excuses when in reality people are looking at the object and trying to compare it to what we know. If you don't try to identify it, how will you ever identify it?

Not everything is an "alien ufo" but certain members and people (not pointed at you) are insisting that its absurd to think that not everything is an "alien ufo", and that it is absurd to try to compare these sightings with known objects. It's getting out of hand.

Whats funny is these red lights aren't just in the UK. But in Europe also.

France

St. Petersburg, Russia

Poland

Moldova

This one is also from Poland, I was deciding whether or not I should post it. But it happened on the same night, and the same red lights. But it looks so fake as to how they disappeared.

I see what your saying now. I for one believe that there is and always has been alien life here, but I also believe that 99% of these videos can be explained by jupitar, sky divers, and lanterns. I think a lot of people want all of these sightings to be real, they finally want "disclosure" and it kind of breaks there heart when someone proves it to be sky divers.
