Well,

A few years back a militia in that part of the country began building and operating their own anti-illegal alien drones... now the US itself has just deployed two Israeli- built drones that are intended to pull boarder patrol duty:

The aircraft can fly at 90mph and detected movement at a range of 15 miles.
