I'm not on any "high horse," or low horse, or any horse for that matter. What makes me curious is that the alleged alien has an IDENTICAL skeletal structure to humans. The knuckles, length of bones. Also that the hands are a completely different shade and color from the head. Furthermore, the approximate dimensions of just about everything except the "head" line up with human features.

Without a reliable source, I would initially suspect that this photo is a screen grab from a 50's or 60's era science fiction film, or pictures from an old UFO book or comic. I'm under no illusions, I am obviously unable to claim that I know the exact origin or context of this photograph; but do you?

Reverting to logic, there is much more evidence in favor of a logical explanation, though I'm open to alternative views if a convincing enough argument can be made (aka evidence).

Even your cited source, which is not peer-reviewed, says this about the photo:

This alien Picture has been dubbed fake from many sources around the globe but Since it could be a real picture we through it up for everyone to see. In our opinion the head looks fake, but then again we've never been up close and personal with an extraterrestrial so who are we to say.

Erm. you're new here, aren't you? Don't take any of this personally. just learn to do a little research on your own before you, well, say things you might regret later. Like "debunk this."

all those pics on that website are clearly faked...that alien in handcuffs was a photo from the Weekly World News

you know, i really dont think the op is going to get anything out of this conversation.

I think one of the only pictures which i've seen that was real came in the form of a blue bald girl wearing a red jumpsuit, it was actually a profile picture. I will hunt it down and see if it is still around though i doubt it as it i am sure a picture like that is "high alert" to some people if u get my drift ^_^. I'll post here if i find it as it is a perfectly clear picture ^_^.

p-s - before you say i am crazy, wait and let me try to find it ok?

In todays world, digital photography and advanced computer graphics are in reach of average people. This means it is getting easier and easier for people to create and manipulate images. This also means that when anyone comes forward claiming to have a rare image of something extraordinary, several precautions must be taken before you can believe what you see is real. The image must pass basic tests before anyone can even begin to trust the image is real.

Your image fails all the basic tests.

Test 1: Check if the image was run through any digital editing software.

The image in question was run through an advanced EXIF reader and it returned this:

"Comment : LEAD Technologies Inc. V1.01"

LEAD Technologies Inc. creates imaging software. This comment had to have been added to the photo when it was run through a digital editing software. This raises a red flag, and it means the photo has been edited one way or another.

This means the photo is suspect, and can not yet be trusted as being real. Anyone putting any faith in this image would be taking a high risk of being humiliated and fooled.

Test 2: Find and question the photographer (the source).

Since we don't know the source, or the photographer, this image is highly suspect, and should not be trusted.

There is nothing to debunk on this image because it is already suspected to be fake. Unless you can prove it is real, and unedited, this image is already debunked.

There was no real large jump of technology like people claim, it really all ways gradual and completely man-made.

Please, tell me, what technology do you think was manipulated by aliens?
