thanks mate.....as sure as # if i ever see anything again, i think i will just keep it too my self instead of having an inquizative mind.

One thing we must remember is that whatever we see is what we saw and what we think it is. When you tell your story you must remember that not everyone will agree with you as some people have different perspectives about what you have seen. Also remember that you do work around helicopters and i have seen police choppers sit in a stationary position for hours. We all must remember that in order to make your story more comprehendable and more likely to believe what you saw you have to capture it on film or with a steady shot camera. Physical video or picture evidence is what makes these sightings come to life so that everyone can see what you have seen. lets all just keep that in mind

hehe naa..i have no pictures and nothing else to cover it...

but its the main reason why im here..its a random "sighting" and i know it wasnt anything "known"
from this world ...well common known i mean..(not including secret new weapons)

maybe some day i post it just for fun...but this isnt my thread.

im going to google around for any sightings around sydney...
maybe some more people saw something strange today

Deb, you were absolutely right to post your sighting here, that is what ATS is all about, but when you take all the facts into account, the time of day, the weather conditions, I'm sorry to say that the most likely outcome is that you saw a helicopter maybe with search lights panning round, hence going from a pin prick light to a bright light.

just one last thing....i have been a member and visiting this website for a few years now... i think this is my first ever new thread. i prefer to read. im more interested in the goings on with the world financial crisis and the interesting reading with regards to this subject that i find on this site.

this was my first venture into the whole ufo/unusual sightings part.

you have to know..there alot of disinfo threads and alot of postings last days.
its a bit hard to handle.Also for old members..and they all very skeptic.

Keep posting your sightings because they are all interesting thats what ATS is here for. I havent posted any sightings yet becuase I am having them debunked first in order to make sure its not something of the known.

sorry i didnt add this to an earlier post, but i was too busy trying to get down the details of what i saw. because im in e.d and i was with an ambo officer, we had access to the emergency channel and thats why besides the fact it was near impossible to fly a helicopter last night, we know there was no helicopter either police or ambo in the air at that time. please dont try to poke a hole in this fact....this is not america and sydney would probably be considered a small town over there, so if there is any police or ambo chopper movement, we know all about it.

Government choppers fly through anything as well as Military helicopters. you have seen a helicopter. im sticking with a helicopter because of the information you provided. Maybe you didnt know about this helicopter. its possible that not every aircraft is known about when its flying through the air and my next guess is that it could have been... OMG HAARP!! thats another solution to this object you have seen.

Have a good shift lol i dont know if its morning or night for you. If you see anything still take a pic even with your older phone and then post it. youd be surprised how much those little phones can capture.

I live in sydney, and the weather is very very bad right now, the wind is crazy. Maybe it was a ufo , ive actually been feeling ill see one soon around sydney.

Hi, i'm rather new here and have not given much input to threads as yet. My knowledge on most subjects is limited as so many things interest me. ET and Disclosure are currently my Fad. Your post caught my eye straight away, the reason for this is because i've recently started using the Nasa ISS live feed on my screen (as a sort of screen saver). Anyway, last night at around 1 am BST (uk time) while the ISS was passing across the dark side of the earth i saw an unusually large and birght light on the horizon of the planet. A few moments later, the live feed was cut, the lost signal picture was temporarily shown for several minutes, then the feed returned, the bright light was now roughly 1000 miles (by my uneducated estimate) from the earths horizon across the earths surface by city lights. it remained staionary for about 3 minutes then slowly dimmed until absent from view, giving the appearance it had dropped towards the earth, then suddenly from the top right corner of the screen a light fly across the screen, it looked exactly like a shooting star, however i find this hard to believe as the view was current of the earth surface (you could see city lights and clouds).The light came from the oppostite side of the view flying towards where the original bright light had appeared, then once again the live feed cut off to the signal lost picture. I unfortunately drifted off after this point so never saw any footage after this. Anyway, when i read your description, it kind of sounded like what i had witnessed, so thought i'd mention it to see if anyone else saw it. I have only recently started watching the ISS live feed so i'm not sure what sort of anomilies are observed nighly and written off. Anyones opinion on what i saw is welcome as i'm always skeptical myself. I'm a firm believer that ET exist out there, but i am still awaiting my personal convincing observation in the sky to make me believe they are here.

Any thoughts??

deb, don't get discouraged..You never know, someone else may come along & say that they also witnessed this possible event...I for one, enjoy reading everyone's story's or "sightings"...

It would help if you could give exact time, direction of sighting, and altitude above the horizon. I know you said it was overcast but your description of it as motionless and getting brighter and dimmer sounds exactly like a celestial body seen through clouds getting thicker and thinner. I wouldn't rule out helicopter or blimp either.
