ATS = Abnornal Tendancy Syndrome

Why does it seem that all the threads lately seem to be drifting towards it could be, should be, might be......But in hindsight are cannot be. I will be controversial because I feel that a great number of people on here seem to be looking up instead of down. My point is this.....
It seems very surreal that over the last month or so, many threads have been waiting or readying for the 13th of October....As far as I can tell, a thread was suggested that we will be overwhelmed by UFO's. It amazed me that there was a flux of threads on the 14th suggesting BREAKING NEWS.....THEY ARE HERE.......WE HAVE VISITORS......etc etc....
Is that really Above Top Secret ?
Point is this.....We have many things to worry about on this soil before we go looking for the unknown above our heads....
Does 9/11 still matter....Does 7/7 still matter.....Or are we all streamed on a vision that the truth LIES above ?
I get this feeling that the world is slowly being manipulated to start wondering what MIGHT be out there, so us real thinkers start wondering if we should look up too........
I love the skies......but I never carry a camcorder...just in case.
Its another cold war.......this time from afar

You see the ATS lately as a UFO garbage bin, too?
I see it as a "Let's-make-up-as-many-threads-as-possible-without-using-SEARCH!" site now.



I see copies of the threads popping up on a daily basis.
Seems to me the recent influx of non-conspiracy based thread is irritating.
Not too far back, I would open ATS and see interesting threads on a daily, if not hourly, basis.
Things worth flagging and adding to.

But, those threads are numbered.

Back to your point.
I fully agree and understand your post.
We should be focusing on the things around us, not what's supposedly in the sky right now.
There needs to be more focus on why the US gets taxed like it does.
Focus on things like:
Where all of our jobs will be in 5 years.
Where all of the money is going to come from to pay for the debt our gov't has produced.
Why we haven't fired everyone in Congress right now.

If anyone paid attention to what is taking place in D.C. on a daily basis, I think that the country would revolt.
BUT there are SO many distractions, i.e., sports, TV, 'UFOS', etc...
The general population is apathetic.
They are too worried about making money rather than finding out where it's going.

Sometimes I feel that when the POTUS said he will end 'theories', he was right.
Just flood all the sites with new people and garbage information, plus a side of distraction...
You get exactly what they want.
