the lights are back over ny again therefore i think there is a chance they are planes .

Listen man that camera is pointed towards an area of the sky which different airlines use for travel to the 4 airports in that 20 mile radius, stop it with the bs.

i only see one, so far.... yeah prolly planes ok i see 2 now

Me and my good friend are watching it now, they are going from right to left now.

They are not as active as before but worth the watch

The hyperbole over NY needs to die down.... The tenth came and went. Then the thirteenth came and went. Nothing happened. Nothing.

Wait and watch, now, as the MSM starts doing stories about how the UFO community has taken to pointing to every plane in the sky and citing it as truth of visitation.

Years of work by a lot of people is about to be discredited in the public eye.

You know this is what makes credible people that believe in UFO's look nuts.

To watch is good and to observe is good, but do not make claims that oddities are happening in direct flight paths of airports near by.

To see something interesting is one thing but to point to everything discredits us all.

Please use some discretion in pointing out everything as aliens.

Um its not dark In NYC still got about an hour

I personally and many other like me such as October were watching this webcam live for a period of 3-4 hours. They appeared in the middle of the screen and flew off into the direction. Other lights would appear and hover in 1 spot for a period of 10-20 minutes and then suddenly start to move and fly off in one direction. If these were in fact planes, then how come we are not seeing them flying around as lively as we had seen that night for a period of 3-4 hours? As the video below I posted shows some of these lights were even flying over the skyscrapers in NYC. When in FACT everyone knows there is a strict no fly zone over NYC. If anyone wants to argue with me about what we saw that night were planes. Go ahead and start a debate with me. But you better have some evidence to prove what we saw that night were planes.

I'm glad one of you UFO'ers finally realizes they're planes now on different flight paths due to weather, wind, etc.

All those cam comments are going to provide material for many papers though on the Power Of Suggestion as well as many other topics.

I concur with this poster, we watched it for a long time, there is no second hand footage there. I was thinking it must be flares or planes and i could easily agree with that but there would be one bright light that would shoot up in the middle and stay whilst the rest would do their thing. Like i say i'm not saying they were aliens or craft, but i think it would be rude to discount a couple of people who are trying to give any kind of information they can? we are just putting forward what was seen, is this not the place for constructive conversation?

Why didn't you leave the timestamps on your gif images?

Why hide a crucial thing like that?

Without it, we can't tell what time these lights turned up, therefore can't compare the lights to flight schedules of aircraft coming and going in the area.

You're also wrong about the airspace above New York being restricted....remember the plane that landed in the Hudson?

Having spent many days and nights in major east coast cities, these are a very common sight. Anyone ever driving up the Jersey Turnpike towards the GWB or tunnels has seen the same exact thing with the skyline of NYC in the background. The Newark NJ Intl Airport sits so close to the the city that you can see this every single night as slong as the weather and clouds cooperate. You can see the same in Philly, Boston, and DC area. I remember sitting up nights just watching the planes line up for landing and accelerating after takeoff. Its actually a very relaxingthing to do.
