Important Information - Please Read

I just want to let everyone know that screenshots can be easily faked. During the "A Message from the Agency" thread, some screenshots were posted, claiming that the admin of the website: portalreport.webs.com... said certain things. I personally don't believe it, because the website is presented quite well, and the screenshots are presented as if the admin is some kind of nut.

You can also see that the Admin has posted about this on The Agency's website FAQ:

Moderators, I know this isn't the right area for such an announcement, but the information is most valid for the members who've been visiting "this" section. So I genuinely believe this is the best place to put this post. Also believe that in is necessary to explain to people that screenshots can very easily be faked.

Towards the end of the Agency thread, before it was closed for review, it looked to me as if a hoard of people were posting spam, accusations, screenshots, text, you name it. It really did look like a heavy discrediting campaign to me. All anyone has to do is look at all the posts that were censored.

It is also good for the members of this forum to know that ATS wasn't censoring anything sensitive (because I know ATS might be accused of that). I can personally vouch for ATS and say that the censored comments were removed because they were completely off topic and were nothing more than a big string of useless argumentative rhetoric.

Anyway, I hope this thread stays. I posted it because I really think people should know, so that people don't start asking questions.

i understand the principles of forgery and let's face it electronic trickery is easy so to return to the message in general, my question is this;

why all the upset over a couple of predictions that most probably won't come true - are there real warnings to discern from the text. a most intriguing post .. hmm.

I faked nothing. I have not been deceptive in any regard.
Someone is trying to create a hoax, and they got called out, it happens all the time, get over it already.

The only thing I am upset about is that we had a really good thread going, and I was enjoying the conversation. Finally I had something I couldn't keep my eyes off for days (because I've been really interested in these portals), but then towards the end it started turning sour. It's not about people disagreeing or anything. The thread just turned into a circus. I really think there is something to this message, so I've been trying to keep the thread on track ONLY so I can have "intelligent" conversation, but the last 10 pages were utter garbage about nothing.

I don't want this thread to turn into another big argument. I just wanted to point out that these screenshots were presented right in the middle of a storm of spam and fake accounts. There was even a fake registration. Someone registered the name "The Agency" and started posting useless cryptic spam and silly dates. I just think the thread god hijacked by a few buddies having a laugh, and I wanted to try to explain to people what I saw happening (as explained in the OP).

Sorry thats rubbish and you know it,the last 10 pages were full of people with questions seeking the truth.I too have been highly interested in this subject,i come to this site to discuss and get to the bottom of any problem i or others see,irrelevant of how important i find it,the negative undertones were coming from your direction.

good luck with your objective of having a serious discussion about the "message" - i suspect any thread related to it will be hijacked faster than the speed of light.

I must confess that I'm not happy the 'administrator' is using ATS as a point of encouragement to 'spread the word' in the Help section of the portal site - if it does end up being a hoax it does dis-credit the ATS community imo.

As for a subject for discussion I'm certainly interested in what members have to say breaking down the actual 'message'.

I don't want to argue with you, but respectfully, you were one of the culprits. You thought you could debunk the site by claiming that the admin couldn't have logged into the website with the information provided, and after going to test the website, I informed you that he could. But you went on and on about it, and I kept repeating the same answer, because I had gone and tested it. I asked you to go and test yourself, before interrupting the thread with pages and pages of the same posts.

You're not the only culprit. There were many. If you look back before all the one liners and half thought out debunking declarations (which were mostly covered in the "first" 10 pages, if anyone would have bothered to read the thread they were posting about), you'll find that I had some rather lengthy posts that I had made, in hopes of some intelligent conversation.

It's not that I didn't want to refute anything that could debunk the message. It's that it had already been discussed, or the debunking wasn't valid. I wasn't getting annoyed about debunkers, I was getting annoyed with "better" and "more intelligent" conversation being trodden on.

The last thread was really good, but your bad behaviour ruined it for all of us. I for one would have loved for the whole thing to be true, but let's face it, it isn't. Or the admin for The Agency site is 12 years old and has no people skills.

I checked out those screen shots (sent to me via email) and they didn't look fake to me. They did look like the first bit of honest information we had had in many pages though.

I really hope with all my heart that you find what you're looking for m1star76.

That's all well and good, but, respectfully, nothing you've just stated is objective or constructive. Declaring that it should be laughed at means you think it's a hoax and a lie. The appropriate thing to do is lay out your reasoning, not just make declarations and then warn of the dangers of those declarations. Do you understand? You're making the assumption that the website is a lie, but you don't know that. What if it isn't a lie? Don't answer that, it was rhetorical.

I can go and get more than one response where members commended me on my posting and enthusiasm. I think when you're referring to is my getting annoyed with the spammers and disingenuous, unconstructive one line pirates that showed up after the 10th page and hijacked what was a very thorough and constructive conversation.

If anyone will go and look at that thread, you will see the difference between the 10 paragraph responses in the first half, compared to the unintelligent one liners in the last half.There's a difference between asking questions and making statements in question format. The whole thread turned into a barrage of useless, dead end one line statement. Yeah, I got upset! And I would again.

You weren't trying to derail the thread. You had a valid question that hadn't been answered properly. Tolerance is really important here on ATS, but some people forget that.

On a brighter note, there is a game coming out (or it may be out already) called "The Agency" so maybe we'll all get the answers we're missing when it comes out.

No, I did clear it up. You didn't understand, so you kept going on and on about the same thing until "you" understood. Forget the conversation and what everyone else is trying to say. Just interrupt it all with your inability to understand and then get upset with me for getting irritated. If it was JUST you I probably wouldn't have minded much, but just before you showed up, there were several sets of different people, all slowly eroding what was a really great thread (with what amounted to ill-conceived BS).

I don't want to talk about usernames and passwords and where the 1 is on a keyboard and where the 0 is, or to explain 3,000 times that the message had a typo because people can't even read the thread they're supposed to be debunking in. It was endless. If someone wants to debunk something, you go and get the evidence (in full) and come back to display it. You don't just vomit half arsed feelings and hunches all over the conversation, because if everyone does that, people like me who have a functional thought process get a REALLY big headache.

I answered it because I didn't think it would take another 16 posts to get you to understand the answer (which is why I got irritated). I think that thread needs "two" threads.

1). A Message from The Agency (Discuss the Message)..
2). A Message from The Agency (Debunk the Agency).

Yeah, it is interesting. Petty I can't hold a conversation with anyone about it for more than 3 posts before someone comes in and wants to talk about how far away the 1 is from the 0 on the keyboard, or injects: "Ah this is just laughable cr*p" with no objective reasoning, and I could keep typing all about the annoyances for 30 minutes.

Personally, I believe there's something to the message, which is why I've been so interested for 2 days. I've been registered here for 4 years, reading posts. I never found anything worth responding to until now. The reason I think there's something to it is because I've done a lot of research about the things in the message

When I read that message, about 10,000 things I've researched over the years come to mind. I am on fire to share all that with people, and talk about it, but NO! I've got to talk about the layout of the qwerty keyboard.

I don't know about you guys , but is that mail out dated big time ?

They say this :
