Beautiful story - I'm glad the bride and her family took the time to feel and enjoy life without fear.

On the other hand... I kept wondering why this is on the front page of ATS. After a bit of contemplation I'm happy that we have a close enough community of people that we can share things like this, even though it more belongs on email or facebook, in my opinion.

Sorry but I don't think it's a beautiful story at all. It's terrible. That poor girl was in agony both physically and mentally. Granted, there would have been a few tiny moments where her mind was off her pain, just the whole busy-ness of the day. It's great she got married before the end came but that girl was suffering terribly. And so young, just a baby really. I'll bet there were thousands of tears at her wedding. I'm tearing up looking at the pictures.

So sad.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope he/she died in the company of family and loved ones.
No second line.

RIP

I felt like a complete and utter weakling after I read this story. It's a shame that something like this is what it takes to put everything into perspective.

I know what you mean. You never contemplate your own mortality until you see the suffering in others. However, do not beat yourself up. I am sure that you are stronger than you admit.

This site is now hooked up to facebook. There will be lots of more of this. THis is a concpiracy site. I apologise if I offend any sensitive people but I do not expect stories like this on ATS.

This is supposed to be in some of those true story magazines that housewifes pick up in the supermarket.

Call me a heartless person. I do not care. I am not heartless. This is not what this site is supposed to be about. By permitting a story like this on the site it is just giving the green light for lots more of this. I don't care how sad it is or how sad it makes you, its not what this site is supposed to be about.

God only nows what ATS is going to mutate into in the future.

It brings a point blatantly to light,
namely,
even the most beautiful(the lady above)
and brilliant people (Carl Sagan, Richard Feynman etc),
we are all expendable.
EXPENDABLE.
It is a cold hard fact,
not even religion,
any of them
(none of which are based on not one once of tangible proof),
fail to fill the void.
Nature is callous & merciless.
Loving Deities my toe,
bunkum.
All we have is each other.

is that why this is here?

because of her beauty?

beauty and the beast?

remember you only see beauty because you also see ugly.

can i ask a very serious question.

Why do people need a reason to die?

She is an angel in heaven for sure.

I feel very sad with regards to this story.

I just hope that all the happiness that they felt on that day will help the widower.

The bride was beautiful. All people are beautiful.

No one needs a reason to die

Even the most despicable deserve to live and contemplate their misdeeds locked away for life

Our time here is but a blink of an eye and before we know it

It is gone

To quote a Kansas song (and a secondary quote from Bill and Ted)

Our lives are bust "dust in the wind"

Stories of death are so shocking to people

Because it reminds of us our own mortality

And the most empathetic of us also feel the pain of the ones left behind

Something tells me that this girl is much happier now

She experienced her dream before she died

She was the beautiful bride dressed in white with the congregation looking at her shine

In her moment

And now she gives all of ATS hope for the day

Bravo for her

Every little girl dreams of the long white train that accompanies her to meet her knight in shining armor

I am merely happy that she was allowed to experience this before she passed on to another

Better life

Cheers to all

Thank you OP.

To those asking "Why is this story here on ATS?" I say we have so many different topics that amount to little or nothing that it matters once in a while to have something real that touches the heart, such as this brave girls story or the story of the Chilean miners who were rescued.

That beautiful young girl. I have a knot in my throat after seeing those pictures of her and reading what happened, and I confess that I am shedding tears writing this.

She should have had an entire life in front of her, with the man who loves her. 21 years old - either there is no God or God decided she was too good to be down here with the rest of us.

Cancer should leave the young alone: let it take old people like me, but don't cheat children like this.

I am so glad she had her wedding day, so glad she was in love and loved. I can say from experience that a few days being loved and loving someone can last forever. I hope she was filled with joy and love.

Kyrie eleison Katie, and if there is a God teach him or her what mercy and kindness means.

No, it is not a conspiracy thread. It is a thread about life and death and the fact that this young lady was able to live long enough, through her obvious pain and agony, to marry the man she loved. For that in itself, we should take time to pay our respects and to contemplate our own existance. An existance the PTB would love to control in its entirety.

This thread is oubout her. RIP.

This made me cry. I cried tears of sadness for all that's wrong with this world, and for all the hopelessness of their situation. But it did strengthen my resolve. After all, this woman faced her own death with such courage and bravery. How can I ever look at my own troubles the same?

Thank you for posting this........such tradgedy, as well as heroism. It really does make you think, you never know when your time is up. To those questioning it being on here, there re far more frivilous things posted on here based on fantasy and outright lies/embellishments rather than real life. If you really question this being here, perhaps you should question yourself being here.

I learned early in my life - always tell the people you love that you love them, because in a moment they may be gone; that last conversation might be the last you ever have with them.

Thats a nice story, but Im having trouble seeing why it should be on a conspiracy site....

Maybe BTS would be a better outlet?

Or even the MSM could use a nice story like this to report on. Unless they're too busy talking about chilean miners, and cats stuck in trees.

Weddings aren't cheap. This one, although in MI, looks like they spent a good deal of $$. What was the point?

She should have just donated the money to cancer research and then thrown a huge party with her friends in a more comfortable setting, or even Disney Land would have been a better way to spend all that money and time.
