greetings from Germany. (will be hard for me to make my point in English but i ll try my best.)

Is there any chance that a new member can see how many predictions came true that were predicted here?

I am really getting pissed that since i am interested in all that stuff not ONE big prediction that would have made an effect came true.

So i am asking: how can someone who is here for a long time still be able to be open to that stuff and star and flag any kind of prediction. I mean: people that are reading here for a long time MUST be blunted or bitter or just hopeless. I would be. As i was the most optimistic guy in terms of all that changes that were fore-casted but right now i am just getting a bitter, adapted individual that does not believe in any big change anymore maybe because i was hoping for so much stuff really strongly that did not happen.
Ok to be honest still i can not stop hoping that the predictions just delay (for example the BIG ufo Landing today or blah) But on the other hand right now when i read "news" from people like benjamin fulford, poofness, sheldon nidle ,that Norad Guy or people here making predictions i just want to observe this people and debunk them as there is a growing aggressive feeling in me that these are just crazy people with a big neurosis that forces them to lie to get attention or maybe people that are really in a psychosis and get respected by guys like us because in a way we are the audience that give people with a psychosis respect as we WANT TO BELIEVE.

Still i find that whole phenomenon really weird. Sometimes i feel like ATS and other people who are interested in all that stuff could be in a kind of mass psychosis. The selective perception that made me a totally different being after becoming interested in all that ufo, channeling, awakening, spiritual, nesara etc stuff is really strong.

I mean: we all know that we are constructing our reality with our focus and the way we interpret things but than i ask myself: do we sometimes go to far?
Last year i was absolutely sure that the presence of ET would have been disclosed until NOW. 3 years ago i was absolutely sure that i would be awakened and enlightened in a short time (i am still not).
7 years ago i was sure that i would be able to make contacts to my spiritual guides and beings from other planes (i still can´t).
11 months ago i was sure that nesara is already happening and the interim government would be installed (i don't think so).
Since 12 years i am searching but never did i make any experience that gave me a direct knowing of the things i read about and believe in. I would call all my "knowledge" the SOUP OF THE SOUP.

SO the question is: in all that time did any of u have an experience that was not just a product of interpretation and selective perception or second hand. An experience that told u: all that things u believed in were true and now u KNOW (not guess) it.

70-90% of the people who flag prediction threads have been brought over from the introduction of Facebook. When you go into these threads, you notice a ton of one-liners and off-topic posts, and I've noticed a lot of new members getting banned as of late.

As far as your question goes, the answer is 0. There hasn't been a single accurate prediction on ATS, and there never will be, but if anybody would like to prove me wrong, be my guest.

I predict that ATS will be wrong today, and the next day, day after day, each and every day, and that some day in the distant future (I'm not saying when), it will get one right

I'm really starting to develop a sense of humor about these things. I just read two hilarious posts. One was saying that "I was divinely inspired to write some religious crap...." which turned out to be more coherent than any of the religious crap in the religious books, yet equally as absurd. Then there was another stating:

"I just got a call from this guy - he's changed his prediction of the alien air show to sometime between today and November 10, 2088."

I'm not going to name any names here, but those two pretty much sum up how the predictions on ATS are usually to be handled.

the interesting thing about this time is that right now if anything is true about that whole stuff regarding ascension, disclosure etc it got to occur within the next 3 years. I gave me that timeline and made a few bets to force me tol stop being interested in that stuff if nothing happens ( or will have to pay a lot of money).
When 2012 is over and nothing happens or happened,it will be very hard for such a movement to come up again. It will be what the 60s and 70s for the hippies were. It will become a cliche and we will fit better in the standards then ever before.

If ONE conspiracy would really make sense than the one that all those predictions about disclosure and 2012 are made by the elite to get us sick of all that stuff. There is a strong instinct in us: when we lost hope once we will not touch it anymore as it hurts to much to experience that twice.

Imagine that nothing happens until mass consciousness projects it by its believe. It would be a perfect plan to disappoint the few people that are ready for that before the masses are to let them control the masses later.
Its like the former hippie today that tells me:" we also believed in peace and love. But ..COME ON!! It will never happen." ...those people have strong effect as they really talk from their heart.

oh my god now i start like...like ..reading to much on ats.

No, because there was a mistranslation somewhere and the prophecy is actually supposed to take place in 2016. By that time, however, people will have forgetten about the 2012 and 2008 predictions of course, and the prediction will change to 2020, ad infinitum. Predictions always coincide with even numbers, but then odd numbers whenever people convienently recall, oh yeah, there's no year zero.

do you also want to know the number of prophecies which prophociesed that the prophecy threads would be wrong?

because currently that one is running at around 99% correct

edit to add that the 1% is variation

It is unfortunate that those whom make the ridiculous predictions most likely will not
read this thread.

One Prediction actually came true here on ATS... I think this was in 03'...

Someone posted a group of Rebels were going to attack the Philippines in a specific city... It came true though... I remember we were trying to come up with how he knew, or if he posted after it happened.

But he posted it it 2 hours before it happened... We never heard from the member again... I think.

The Future is not fixed but forever changing, flowing, malleable. Getting into Predictions is a complete waste of time in the truest sense of the phrase.
