well, it's an interesting vid. i've seen lots of arcing, both from electricity and welding. looks like welding, but being as it's hard to ascertain the distance from the light, i'd be lying if i tried to give an explanation. one thing i'd like to point out for people who don't believe a video because it just cuts off. "well, if it's real, why didn't they finish filming it?" some camera phones only take video for a limited amount of time. my phone for example cuts off after one minute, and i can only send a limited about of data. 100kb as a video.
as far as hearing about it on the news, it's entirely possible there is a media black out. maybe the chinese don't want the world knowing something bad has happened. ya know, like a sign of weakness?
if it's real, coupled with the manhattan sightings (if they were real), the fulham "prediction" (if it's real), plus, i think i read something, now don't quote me on this, but i THINK i read something about a sighting over munich, maybe? msm picking up disclosure stuff, 120 former military men coming forward, u.n. wanting to appoint a first contact liason... come on... things are starting to get exciting here on earth.

Im not one for linking stories but after looking at the video and reading the article did anyone think that maybe these are portals and linked to the message from the agency? they did say the areas around the portals would have military people like that article says aswell and the people around the portals would know and be able to see them.

If i remind well there has to be a green body entering earth atmosphere previous to the portal opening.

But heh what if it falls in antarctica.

From the translation I got, it seems the vanishing was indicating they couldn't see the village for the light, sounds like they are train drivers from the noise, the translation said the Army had sealed off the area.

But it also indicated the reporter might have been mistaken and they were waiting for further reports before anyone took it seriously.

Don't know what to make of it TBH, although the colour does look very similar to the recent UFO video's with the dancing blue lights, very similar.

I noticed this today not the video but the story, and skipped past it believing it sounded way to nuts to be much.

Looks like I was wrong.

Here is the article page.

According to the original article, the 'original poster' was able to get the message out only after he went to another city about 200 li (about 100km) away. And allegedly, the poster also said that 'everyone in his city was talking about it, but the city 100km away had no idea what had happened'.

The poster's friend had also contacted a friend in his city, and this friend was saying that he 'had seen the army had been dispatched towards the city, coming from Xian Yang Highway.'

Gah. Not sure what's real or fake anymore.

I was able to view the vid in iexplorer, but not in Firefox.

First of all, there is no evidence of any flying object of any kind in this footage.
The vid shows a quite bright, flickering blue light on the ground in the distance.
There's obviously a thunder storm happening, since the sky is lighting up a few times and few seconds after the lightning you can hear thunder. Maybe a power plant or a chemical factory got hit by lightning and the light is caused by damaged electrical facility or some burning chemical/gas producing blue flames.

Hmmm I thought I had also seen a flash of "lightning" off to the right and apparently separate from the main blue flashing light that is the center focal point in the video. Now that someone else has also drawn that conclusion....how bout trying this one on for size:

A bolt of lightning hit a power transformer and that is what we see in that vid? I mean I have seen storms knock out power transformers before and I gotta admit...they behave visually pretty much identical as to what we are seeing in that Chinese vid....especially at night! Just a thought (and for the record I am a true believer in UFO's and do think that all of the latest news about the subject is indicating that something is coming around the corner...just trying to be subjective here thats all).

Well, as for the video, it's very poor quality, and seems to recorde what I would describe as a perpetual transformer fire on the horizon. I've seen transformers along power lines explode, and it's a flash that can be seen for miles. This video has nothing about disappearing villages or anything. . .so not sure what to make of it.

I'm completely convinced that something is going on. Be it a worldwide hoax, or mass visitation, it is pretty weird stuff. Never have we had so many mass sightings in numerous locations, all on the same date.

I do not know how more than a billion people can lose an entire village, or villagers. I'm not sure what to think here. Surely these UFOs have to be identified by someone, making UFOs not true by default.

I am not sure how helpful this is, but I am in China and asked a couple of people here to listen to the video.

They tell me that it is difficult for them to make out clearly, as the dialect and accent is different from the local language (local to where I am).

The only thing they can say for sure is that the people making the video have no idea what they are watching...and they talk about someone else has already gone to go closer and see what is happening. That's all....sorry.

My two cents worth is that is looks like something (a big something) off in the distance is ablaze...with periodic explosions going off. Perhaps a chemical plant is burning, or a military base has had an accident. Like I say, just my two cents...

The sad part is that since it is coming from China we will probably never really know what it is or what it is not. So many things are content filtered that come out of that country it's crazy.

I saw something similar to that during hurricane Hugo but it was a Duke Power station that was just getting blasted to hell and back from the electrical damage during some of the tornado's that where spawned by the Hurricane. It was a spectacular show even during the day time.

regardless of where the "sightings" are...the clamp will be on super tight world wide, either by the nationality the events take place in, or through a breakdown of communication from witness to audience. but all in all this event, like many others are victims of poor quality, and a natural lack of preparedness in respect to random events like this.

whatever the cause of the blue light, a clear understanding of what happened may be hard pressed.

Honestly, I am very reluctant to post anything on China at this point. There's just too many stories in the past two weeks and NOW, I'm coming across sightings in China on Oct 13th only it was a different year?

I give up.

I'll admit, I am over my head and have no idea what I am doing or reading or even thinking about this China situation!

That video is an old cgi hoax. Why don't you look at the time stamp on the youtube video? You saw it was two years old right? Didn't you wonder why a giant mothership appearing over a major city with millions watching it wasn't world news two years ago? Because the video was a cgi fake! Use your head.

could it not just be something like this video? A power station off in the distance that is having a problem? I mean this thing at night would be a show!!

What other evidence has been provided of this alleged "disappearing village?" I have located nothing, and certainly this video shows no such thing. so far nearly all the videos that I've seen this evening from around the world all appear to be something other than UFO's of extraterrestrial origin. I don't know what China is trying to pull. Overall, though, I suspect we're being subjected to these anomalies in the sky for the purposes of gauging what the population's response would be.

Frankly, I think anyone even entertaining the notion of carrying out what is alleged in the "Project Blue Beam" scenario should have their head examined. That stuff is not gonna fly in the U.S. We've been slow to wake up to what's going on around us, no doubt about that. However, trying to fake a stupid alien invasion will do nothing but p--- off the population, resulting in an overthrow of the government. It would be a ridiculously stupid thing to try.

The village didn't disappear, there is no reliable source of information and it is likely a hoax.

Reporters today (13), respectively, to Shaanxi Provincial Public Security Bureau, Shaanxi Military District, and the Qinling Mountains surrounding Hanzhong, Ankang, Baoji, Xi'an, Shangluo confirmation, the parties did not receive any relevant reports have indicated that Network attached network belongs to the rumors.
