I was thinking about how the clues were solved this week. Enter a solution into 4clue, get a clue, and have the next item to be solved at the bottom.
At the bottom of OPIL were the seven red dots. I don't think we used them to find another solution.
I went back and reread Simon's first letter. Here's what he said about the seven red dots:
Also, the back of the envelope had seven red dots, a personal inside joke of significance, only he and I knew about.
I don't know if the red dots appearing in these two places is a coincidence or a clue. It seems out of place that Simon specifically said that only
he and Uncle knew about the dots, and now they show up on Cromeline's site.
Any thoughts?
