Hickey-Jones brought the footage to the Ontario Science Centre to be analyzed by experts. The Science Centre is reviewing the footage frame-by-frame to determine whether Hickey-Jones’ claim is legitimate. With closer examination, Science Centre staff is hoping to establish whether or not a genuine unicorn sighting has occurred.

So this birdwatcher was out and about with his video camera and a white unicorn calmly crosses his path!

Now the vid is of good quality, but it's gonna be very easy to fake, all you would need is a tame / semi tame horse and a glue on horn of course....

So what do you guys think?

I am with the commenter on YouTube who mentioned the lack of leg movement in the video. This raises the possibility of CG. I vote HOAX on this particular Unicorn.

I'm no video analyst, so to me this could be real or be fake, however I am inclined to believe it is fake, because if I saw a unicorn, and got it on video I would definately try to chase it.

It looks like a really bad attempt at a CGI hoax.

As stated earlier, lack of leg movement is a dead giveaway. Thanks for putting it up though. Would have never seen it if you hadn't.

Perhaps unicorns are so graceful their legs need not move to propel them forward, they simply glide magnificently across the meadow with but a thought; like whispers on the wind.

Or its a poorly done CGI piece with a still image of a horse with a horn pasted on dragged across a video of a clearing.

I know my opinion.

Most likely this video is fake. It's a pretty coll video non the less. I wonder what we can get from this?
On the mean time I'm still trying to see this mythical creature.

As someone who owned horses... total fake.
2nd line.

I work with 3D graphics programs like Real Time 3D, Maya and VUE and I can tell you this is CG!

The movements are rubbish and you can tell by pausing a few frames a second!

The rendering of the video is mediocre too!

Im surprised no one called the Unicorn Hotline as listed in the article. I called it and it turns out that it was just a joke to get some promotion for some Science exhibition on Mythical Creatures.

It might be worth a ring anyway just to hear it.

The ability to rollerskate is pretty spectacular for an equine.
A majestic horned horse gliding through the forest on some glittery rainbow skates is likely to appear magical to the untrained observer.

isn't it pretty hard to film something that never existed?

I live 10 minutes away from this place. It's got a large population of people there, I don't see how this could go on undetected.

I agree with CGI or some sort of trickery.

How do you know they never existed? I would like to know where you got that information from.

But it is a unicorn...they don't need to move their legs....they are majiks.

Too bad the video didn't capture the "unicorn" pooping....cause we all know unicorn poops rainbows....that would of proved it.
