Sounds like it was really close to you. Were there lights or sound?
Are we competitive with even the lesser advanced visitors?

I tried balancing the camera on the balcony with my arms, as there was nothing else to help. It didn't move closer. What caught my eye, was how this thing was blinking to the naked eye. I'm guessing it must have been 25-35km's away (I guess that's about 18-24miles for you US guys). I say that, because I'm about 10km's (7miles) from Lake Ontario, and this was Definitely above the lake. Hope that helps.

(Been looking at that area of the sky ever since, and haven't seen again. If I do, I'll definitely record it )

There were lights: white on each corner and a center light that changed from red to blue. It was pretty incredible. The amazing thing was, our windows were down, and there was no sound. If it was a government ship, it was a hell of an engineering triumph to be that close to it and not hear it. It was nearly directly above us.

A few months ago we had our power go out around 10 or 11 pm each Thursday for 2 or 3 weeks in a row. Still don't know why, but one of the times I figured I could get a good look at the night sky since there were no lights and the sky was clear. Well, I looked up and a bit to the south of our house about maybe half a mile up (maybe less), I saw what was a pretty good sized object that in hindsight reminded me of one of those triangular objects. At first I just kind of shrugged it off and went back inside. Then I realized how slow it was going and that I really didn't hear any sound (it was low enough I should have heard the engines). I went back out and it was gone. Still can't say it was anything but a jet or plane, but for some reason I keep going back to that night and wondering.

At a half mile away, I would say you wold hear even the smallest plane moving away. I might have been a triangle craft. In your report you said it was big.
The ones I saw were 10 miles away and that was close enough for me

Before I begin this story I will admit that my sighting happened in a moment of incredible inebriation. I was 14/15 and I was under the influence of atleast 2 E's (probably blue dolphins or maybe mitsi s), a good half dozen rats/buckets of rocky and probably some filthy alcopops or white lightning cider, so really this recollection is not from a reliable source. I believe I saw something crazy that night as did my two friends at the time,...anyways... ...... In the summer of 2002/2003 me and 2 friends decided we wer going to do an 'all nighter' (we would lie to our parents and then stay out all night drinking cheap alchohol and taking recreational drugs sometimes there would be 20 of us sometimes there would be 5 of us, this time there was 3 of us) we decided to go to 'Revidge golf club' in Blackburn, England which in the warm summer nights we would often frequent vandalising and drinking..etc as we wandered aimlessly around the golf course jibbering and talking over each other we spotted what at 1st we thought was a Helicopter (a normal sight in the night sky) it was almost directly above us and had 3 lights changing between red green blue and maybe a white light, it seemed to be silent and after a few minutes of looking up at these lights paranoia started to set in. One of my two friends started saying it was a police helicopter and they wer watching us trespassing on the golf course, we began to run and hid in the nearby woodland a few minutes past as we calmed down and came to the conclusion that it couldnt be a helicopter as there wasnt any kind of sound so as we left the woods we once again gazed upwards at the pitch black sky, the lights wer still there , 3 lights in a small triangle changing colour, it didnt seem to be moving until the lights intensified along with a strange low droning sound and then within a second or two it had vanished over the horizon, we wer all kinda shocked but within a minute or so we'd probably half forgotten about it and had carried on with our all nighter wandering about talking nonsense and drinking

Great sighting Jackson, that sounds like it was watching you from above.
It sounds like you were definitely inebriated, what are rats?
All three of you saw it close enough to run into the woods. There seems to be a lot of low flying triangles with no conventional sound. You said the lights intensified and then it took off. Was it as big as a helicopter? What did your friends say about it later?.

I think your UFO was a lot like Jackson's sighting.
Right above you. with these alternating lights.

The first one I saw I was at my friends house down the street from mine. It was cloudy and the moon was out. She and I were looking at the sky when we saw something behind the clouds. It was big, had lights on the outline of it, moved slow and was silent. We watched it for about 6 minutes before we couldn't see it anymore. I was 15

The next one I was in Reno the next year and it was during the day. I was outside of a casino looking at the Sierra Nevada Mountains when a shine caught my eye. There was this metallic looking object with the sun reflecting off of it. It was swaying from left to right gradually getting higher and higher into the sky until it was out of my perception. I was 16

About two years later my friend and I were driving towards my other friends apartment just south east of my house. When going south on a main street we noticed two bright lights flying in a line formation with each other. They were moving slower than airplanes typically move and I lived about 30 minutes from DFW airport. When we got to my friends apartment we looked to the West down the highway and saw the two lights in the same formation in the town west of mine. My friend and I rushed into my friends apartment and said "You won't believe what we just saw" my friend who lived and our other friend saw the objects as well and said the same thing to us. It was pretty weird. I was 18

The last one was the beginning of this year, I was at my aunts house. She lives in a hilly part of town that looks over cities west of ours. I went onto the upstairs balcony for a smoke when I noticed a bright orange light just appear in the sky in the west. It looked like it was moving towards my direction (not directed at me of course) and then the light just faded away and the object was gone.

I'm not saying they are all extraterrestrial UFOs, I think it is a possibility but I just don't know, I haven't seen human aircrafts like the ones I've seen so who knows. I KNOW there is other life in the universe so the idea of them coming here doesn't really effect me to much. I won't be one of the religious people that will be culturally shattered if a UFO landed on the White House lawn. (not saying it will, just using it as an example)

In 2004 I saw an other world craft. I have NEVER seen anything like it before or since. The duration of the sighting was approximately 4 to 5 seconds.

What I saw was described in Esoteric Teachers thread - the sighting of his friend quoted below:

Hill AFB, Utah 1985 During war games at Hill AFB, Utah, I was standing out on the flightline, guarding the perimeter, the entry-access control point. The rest of the base was in black out conditions, with black plastic over the windows of the buildings. All of the sudden, an aircraft or an airship was above me, of unknown origin. It was the biggest aircraft I have ever seen, completely silent and moved approximately ten miles an hour, almost floating. It was triangular, no visible engines, no markings, gun metal black. It essentially looked like it could fly in space. And when it accelerated, it leaped frog; that it is to say, it blinked out and reappeared farther away. It basically disappeared when it accelerated. I saw it too. The sighting was in Woodstock, Georgia. It was a cloudy overcast day and my step-son saw it first and asked me what it was.

It was HUGE. It didn't make a noise and moved very slow. There was a break in the clouds and that was when we saw it.

It was at cloud level, with my hand out stretched my hand would not blot it from view - my finger would have blotted out a jet at that height.

Anyways .... call me crazy, call me a loon, I know, without a doubt, it was not ours.

Wow, you had four sightings in four years, with multiple witnesses. Those are some awesome accounts.
What color were the lights? Most of the reports here have been red, white and blue.
Did you ever feel different when they were near?
I hope you capture the next one on film.

What I saw had the bright lights on each angle, but no center light at all.

That's just wild stuff. Did you see what it did after it reappeared farther away?
Almost every report here seems to be of a large (100 foot or bigger) triangle- it's overwhelming evidence IMO.

What a great threat. I think it is only fair that people should be able to give their encounters, without fear of ridicule or without the need for hardcore evidence, like the propulsion unit from an alien craft.


Here is my account:
It was in about 1989, on our farm in the Karoo. It was a lazy sunday afternoon after we had our normal sunday afternoon lunch. The whole family was there like it was our custom. After lunch we all went outside to sit on the porch and just talk about stuff. The porch faces a lusern land, fodder for cows. Out of nowhere this ufo sat down in the lusern field. It was about 50 meters away from us. It was about 20 to 25 meters long, oval in shape, a bit flatter at the top and bottom of the craft. It was a dull silvery grey colour, that kinda reminded me of quicksilver. There was no sound emminating from it, and no lights either, it was about 3 in the afternoon.

The weirdest thing i remember though is the feeling i had then. It was like time stood still, all the sounds from the normal farm animals, where gone, it was dead quiet, like before a thunderstorm. The air seemed to be charged with electricity, as the hair on my body was standing up. I have no idea how long the sighting lasted, but the next moment the object went straight up and then flew away at an amazing speed.

No back then I didn';t have any fancy cellphone or camera at hand, and i think that even if i did, i probably would not have thought about using it. It felt like i was frozen on the spot and almost kind of just phased out, almost like under hypnosis.

We were about 9 people in total that saw this. I will actually ask my mom tonight if she still remembers this. Or maybe some details i missed.

Nice VVV- Amazing close encounter! I imagine there was some words on the porch after it was gone. Maybe how long it was there and did the others "feel" it?
Did it leave a mark on the ground?
Did it take off with a force that would kill a mortal?

Strange thing is nobody talked about it for years. Thats why i am going to ask my mom tonight, for some more details.
Yes the lusern was bend over, but not crushed. And for years after nothing would grow in that patch. It did not make a crop circle with complex designs, just a patch where the ground became infertile.
No, it did not take of with such a force. It went straight up, no noise, and then flew away in a nothern direction at a very great speed, but no engine sound or thrusters.

I hope she can elaborate on the sighting and if she also "felt" something.
This has to be the closest sighting to group of people that I have heard of.

I await what she tells you about it.

I was sitting around using a computer when I saw this flying black thing. It started flying around me, doing zig-zags and all sorts of crazy maneuvers and it was pretty fast. I think they have far superior technology to us. It was pretty small too. Perhaps aliens are, like, microscopic or something. Anyway it made this buzzing sound and was annoying me so I started swinging at it. I thought I hit it but it was gone. I think they implanted some device in me, because I had a small red mark on my hand where I think it landed before I was aware of it's presence. It was itchy for a while but then the reddish mark disappeared after a few days.

Anyway, I have encountered those tiny black ships many times in many places. Sometimes they implant me with microscopic technology, sometimes they don't. The red marks are hella annoying. The ships also vary in sizes during each encounter. I think I am a contactee or something because those tiny aliens will not leave me the hell alone. True and chilling story.

To this day I have no idea what they are or why I was chosen.
