Hello,

I know there's a thread to do with remote viewing but it's specifically focused on Mars. Has there been any serious consideration towards the use of the remote viewing to view other planets in our solar system and indeed visit other star systems. Say, Alpha Centauri?

i think it depends on how strong of a remote viewer you are....it takes a lot of energy to get started then i would imagine it takes even more to travel such great distances. personally iv never been able to go very far...its very exhausting.

I'm afraid you have the wrong concept. RVing is letting go. It is tiring only in that the "letting go" part is getting into an altered state of mind from normal, a quieting of brain chatter.

As we hear about instantaneous communication with quantum physics, so it is with RVing. It does not require energy of body or mind to do RV. IThe RVer is simply there when/if desired. \\

However, it is very tiring to learn the process--that is entirely different than the actual doing. Check out Foxfire.doc or Courtney Brown. The first place had the old US Army training manual for learing how to do RVing, and Brown, as I understand has his manual up. Both free.

I was going to train myself in RV but then i realised that theres no point. Even if you did RV mars. How are you going to be sure that what your seeing is actually true, without being able to confirm it.

If the military learn of a secret base for example. They can verify it by sending someone to find out. Its useless otherwise. Why dont you just save some time and effort and just imagine what mars is like and draw yourself some pictures. Its as close as your ever going to get anyways.

That's the spirit. Self-defeat before even attempting. Spoken like a true citizen of Earth.

OK give me one practical use for remote veiwing other than to spy on your enemys. You know im right. Theres no way you can confirm that what you've "Remote viewed" is acurate without being able to check. You you keep imagining what Mars looks like and keep telling yourself that what you saw actualy exists. No one will ever believe you because you cant confirm it. Your just lying to yourself.

Im not being defeatist at all, and what i do has no bearing on anything or anyone else on earth so what are you trying to say.

Your just another phoney who'd like to believe they've got some special powers or something when all your doing is using your imagination. Try remote viewing my location here on earth and post what you come up with. Im willing to bet you cant even get a rough idea where i am, despite my location giving you a head start.

I've wondered the same thing. People that say they have seen Saturn or Jupiter or it's moons--from the surface-- how do they really know?
Couldn't it just be imagination?

I don't think it is defeatist what you say. More just like common sense.

Where then, might I ask, are you from?

Lol, like im going to tell you my exact location. I'll just wait to see if someone can tell me. Ive got nothing to prove.

Im not saying its not possible, because i believe it is. Its just those who claim they can tell me what jupiter is like, expecting me to just nod and agree. I think telekenesis, or psychic abilitys would be far more practical. So thats where im focusing my attention. Its draining though so proggress is slow. But if i do manage to develop something along those lines, i can assure you that ill mak damn sure i can prove it. Then the sceptics can say what they like.

For you "remote viewers", the rest of us just call it using our imagination. Your "RV" skills are just based on what you have witnessed during your lifetime; imagination would be the proper term.

Example, You are "RVing" on the Moon and suddenly a rabbit hops by you... So does that mean rabbits also live on the Moon?

I didn't mean you ... I was asking the other person in that quote, xiphias.

he said:

I'll ask again.

xiphias if you are not from Earth, then where do you think you are from?

Im inclined to agree, anyone can say they are a remote viewer by simply imagining places that nobodys ever seen and probably never will. That why i challenge them to find me here on Earth and surprise surprise. No one ever has to this date.

I would expect someone to at least get close by chance alone, but they dont even attempt it. Maybe this gift they claim to posses is'nt so great that there willing to stake there good name on it.

Exactly. What goes on in a person's mind is completely subjective. Neither side, skeptic or believer, can prove the other one wrong. All I can say with certainty is that your perception of your own reality is entirely based on your brain's ability to imagine.

Note that "Remote Viewing," from what I understand, isn't actually "seeing" anything; it's more feeling and interpreting. That's what the "studies" indicate, anyway. I highly doubt anybody can actually accurately visualize anything remotely.

P.S.
I originate from a tiny hole somewhere in my brain; and no I cannot remote view. =P

Becareful what you wish for!
Actually it is somewhat easy to find where you are living, because of your ip address, rather than "RVing"
Although, I am not an expert, im sure if I try I might find out your location.

Lets just say im prepred for such an instance as my I.P address wont neccisarily give my exact location. So if they simply try to track me down like you said. They'd be falling in to a trap anyways.

Maybe, but they know that you did so because they can RV, therefore you are not safe! Of course im joking, please do not get offended if you are an RVer.

I read some books by leading remote viewers and listened to interviews (on YouTube) with/by various remote viewers.
The books by them are fascinating. It's true they spied; but some of them used Remote Viewing
to time travel.
Another group says they use it to make money in the stock market.
So there are at least two other reasons given by RV'rs.

Time travel is just the same as viewing other planets. Theres no way to verify it. Trading on the stock market actually sounds pretty interesting. Have they had any success at doing so. This is something that would appeal to me. Maybe post some links if you dont mind.
