Be Stupid!!!!

Ok this is the new advertisment campaing by Diesel.It was in the metro station and it caught my eye(i'm not really into fashion magazines so maybe it's not that new)




the goverments will hate you!!!!And then i noticed that in the bottom of the poster there was a "Be stupid" next to the logo of the company.

I had some thoughts over the matter especially after i saw the rest of the posters.They actually promoting stupidity.Stupid is cool,sexy,fun according to them.So people if they want to be all that they have to be stupid.

Anyway,i'm not talking about a big conspiracy here to turn people stupid(or is it?).

It's like when smart kids in school hide how talented and intelligent they really are, to fit in better. This happens in society as a whole now. I think it's just part and parcel to the lazy society that has developed, where no one takes responsibility for their actions etc. Ads like this serve only to further perpetuate the idea.

I find it hilarious that 'Geek Sheik' became a fashion fad, yet instead of the idea of intelligence becoming cool, they took a stereotype of clothing and ran with it. Society is becoming stupider, ruder and more self centred and it's all supposed to be cool and funny. It pisses me off royally!
