Hey I was curious to what kinda pets you guys got..
You know to see if you have normal pets or wierd pets..

These are the roaches I was going to feed the toads but my kids killed the toads so I had 6500 roaches to deal with till my ex made me freeze them this past winter.

Cool idea ThichHeaded, thanks for the opportunity to share some of our loved animal friends.
This is Zinn, she is 4 and my first dog. She is a mountain climber too, just like a little goat, she scales grades that I have to pause at and assess. We are at Chimney Rock 5900'.

6500 roaches?! Wow, how'd you keep up with them buggers? You could have made a homemade horror flick with em'.

@OZ - I like the way Chloe and the ostrich are striking the same pose, side by side.
@ ImAnAlien - Sad to hear about the loss, but very cool pics!
@Rising Against - Normal and boring? Nahh, I bet it's more like special and entertaining.
@ Zoodle - Looks like they have fun together, purdy for sure!

All that stuff was a emerging project that I did with my kids before things went south with thier mother and I..

We found some tadpoles in a puddle and we took a bunch of them home with us.. WE ended up having something like 125 toadlets.. I did mad research to figure out how to keep this things alive.. for the 1st few weeks I was feeding them outside bugs and termites... thats why the 10g is filled with them above.. there were something like 12,000 termites and a queen they morphed into after i caught them so the termites were making alot of them..
Above the termites were pill bugs(potato bugs) and centipedes.. We worked all spring and summer making an ecosystem in that 10g tank for the bugs to be able to produce on thier own.. not including termites.. you add wood and dirt and they are fine..(yes i was terrified that the termites were going to exape constantly..)

To the roaches.. I found out that feeding the toads the roaches would be better for them than giving them crickets(I gave them crickets also while they were tiny cause the toads were still small and couldnt eat the roaches still.. Plus those roaches couldnt climb glass and didnt stink as bad as crickets and didnt make noises.. so they worked out well for me..

After things went south with my kids mother and I, I left the toads roaches and bugs at the house so the kids can be responsible and take care of them.. I aint sure how it happened but somehow the toads tank got a virus supposedly and killed the toads.. The person the kids mother had living with her right after we broke up used the bug tank with the termites and other bugs as a storage for a rat.. in a week it killed all the bugs..
The roaches I took out after a month or so, so the kids wouldnt kill them.. I was planning on setting up another toad hangout like i did before but this past winter my crazy ex decided she didnt want the roaches in her house after a yr. so I had to kill them off(I really didnt want to but wtf, ya know.. get thrown out cause of bugs or get rid of them..) Anyway that is the story on my pets and thier demise.. it sucked though I had fun raising them toads and learning alot about them..

Picture quality isn't the greatest, I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, I'll just put in 2 pics here. Thankfully, they get along good, since one would eat the other if in the wild.

It's a large, really old dog marrow bone. It looks a lot smaller when one of the 60 lb dogs is chewing on it.
The Shihtzu ( I always have to remember spelling and auto profanity filters) is only 10 lbs.
