When you get the chance, you should read the link info.

It concerns the identity of Babylon in reference to the book of Revelation.

Most of the theologians, people, theorists, et. al. (to include Catholic heirarchy)

out there maintain and contend that

the "Whore of Babylon" and Babylon is Vatican and Rome.

This is a difference posture.

One I have thought for years (which is puzzling to me, as it seems like common sense).

I may not agree with all the things said in the link provided,

but the general thesis presented is certainly food for thought.

Well then i will have to check it out. Sorry to bring up Black racist. But this is exactly how these preach in my area. It's scary and they seem to hate everything. Also you don't believe in Revelation? Why?

No, I didn't say that.
I said I do not believe in the commonly held theory of
Rome and the Vatican being Babylon and
the "Whore of Babylon".

That is not what the Book of Revelation states.

Take it easy! lol.
We're just chatting. Um..? What do you think will play out in the End. If there is an end?

I am not at all worried, personally,
about the "End" times.

We have been given the script, along with
footnotes, references, and microfilm.

It is already begun, decades ago.

Although, I think it is amusing to see,
and this also is a hallmark of our generation,
that people expect everything to happen in an
orderly, neat, connect the dots and cross the 't's
fashion, and in a timely manner, befitting their schedules.

Gotta love the beast.

People have different beliefs. Who's to say who is wrong? Maybe we're both right and wrong? Or no where near there.

Well...that is the absolute beauty of free will, isn't it?
(or one could say the curse...if
one experiences a lot of negativity, fears,
and doubts in their life)

We each are allowed to believe whatever
we want to, however we want to. Thankfully.

I am firm in what I believe. Rock solid.

I have not and will never condemn another for what their beliefs are.
I will correct them with truths if they misjudge me or attack me based on erroneous
information. (sigh... so tiresome)

But I never tell someone they, personally, are wrong for their belief system,
inherently.
That is on their soul, their judgment for themselves..

Have you seen the Islamic Jesus movie? It was pretty good. Much better then the Passion. Because of the Islamic perspective and how Jesus preached instead of being beaten during the movie. Magical is a word to sum it up.

Nope. Can't say I have.

Have you read "The Poem of the Man-God"?

This inspired 4,200 page narration describing the Life of Jesus was written by Maria Valtorta (1897-1961) during the years 1943-1947 with some additions in 1951, after the proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption of Mary (1950). Although most of the work covers the three-year public life of Jesus Christ, it begins with the birth of the Virgin Mary, and ends with Her Assumption.

Although the work claims to be "revelation", there are no "new teachings". Like all prophetic gifts to the Church, authentic prophecy has to be discerned. It fills in the gaps between the Four Canonical Gospels with such clarity, that some have dulled their minds trying in vain to find moral or doctrinal errors.
There are none.
It reads like a novel.

www.valtorta.org...

These volumes have no official Catholic church standing, though they have been granted an Imprimatur (free of moral and doctrinal error ) by three different Bishops, and was approved by Pope Pius XII.

I just saw on CNN (11/12/2010 @ 4pm) a story that said Sharon is going home. For the weekend. Why only the weekend?

Something going down this weekend? Perhaps he's being moved to a secure undisclosed location instead? Anybody? Buehller? Buehler? Fry? Fry?

Did sycamores have anything to do with the Lazarus story, I'm hazy at best with bible stuff, not even sure Lazarus was the guy brought back to life.

No the Sycamore tree was the tree climbed by a sinner who renounced his way of life and followed Jesus after hearing him speak in a crowd (he climbed the tree because he wasn't able to see him over the heads of the people).

Not anything that would illustrate Sharon's way of life, that I could see.

The going back home for the weekend is probably one of the tests to see how he handles the atmosphere before he is moved back permanently.

Sorry I didn't see the response before, probably was offline and it was lost in the shuffle...

I didn't get a lot in serious response to this when it was originally posted, glad to see a little now...

Thanks for the replies~

I think his being moved this weekend is a tell-tale sign of something happening viv a vis the webbot's predicted "tipping point" for Nov 14/15th.

I really haven't followed anything with webbot, so I can't comment on that.

I know that they have planned "mini" trials of Sharon going home before his permanent move home.

UPDATE

JANUARY 9, 2011

Comatose ex-Israeli PM moved back in hospital

JERUSALEM -- Officials say the comatose former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon was quietly returned to the hospital just days after he was moved home in November.

Two months ago Sharon was moved with great fanfare to his family ranch in southern Israel, but Tel Hashomer Hospital spokesman Amir Marom said Sunday the plan was always for a brief stay.

Marom says that less than 48 hours after medical teams took the former leader home he was returned to the long-term care unit of a hospital outside Tel Aviv.

The 82-year-old Sharon is a former war hero who led Israel from 2001 until the 2006 stroke that left him in a vegetative state.

Doctors say there has been no change in Sharon's condition.

Hmm... I wonder when he will stay home permanently.
The "end timers' think that when he does, this signals the rise of the antichrist.
