Hello looking for a good documentary to watch this evening. I have had a cup of tea, so I will be up for a few hours I expect. The documentary doesn't have to be alien or UFO related, but this is what I am in the mood for so to speak. But still I am totally up for anything conspiracy related as well.

To rule out a few possibilities here's a few documentaries I either watched recently or just don't wish to watch again because once is enough to get the point.

History Channel's Ancient Aliens
Alex Jones Endgame
Alex Jones the Obama Deception
All the Channel 4 Stephen Hawking 'In Search Of' documentaries
A Brief History Of Time
BBC Threads 1984
BBC Horizon Time Travel
BBC Horizon The Worlds Most Dangerous Drug
Penn and Teller on 2012
Building Gods
Alfred Hitchcock's Holocaust
Channel 4 Roswell Incident
No Mythbusters... As much as I love those guys I've seen most episodes going.

Anyway if you have any good ones you would recommend give me a shout! Cheers

Good documentary site

I'm on an ancient civilizations and religious documentary kick at the moment, and they've got a bunch of great ones there. They've got links to all different kinds of subjects though, so check it out- I'm sure you can find something good to watch there.

I was very moved by the documentary on Golden Gate Bridge, to do with the suicides.

Golden Gate Bridge Suicides

You can watch it free there. It's very disturbing to know the amount of people who kill themselves on this bridge, and even more disturbing to hear the back story of each person && their last moments before they jump, which you also see.

Very moving documentary for me

If you haven`t already seen this documentary ..... you will love it.

What do politicians talk about during commercial breaks ..... watch and find out.

Brian Springer - Spin

Google Video Link

Using the 1992 presidential election as his springboard, documentary filmmaker Brian Springer captures the behind-the-scenes maneuverings of politicians and newscasters in the early 1990s. Pat Robertson banters about "homos," Al Gore learns how to avoid abortion questions, George Bush talks to Larry King about halcyon -- all presuming they're off camera. Composed of 100% unauthorized satellite footage, Spin is a surreal expose of media-constructed reality.

Hi,
I strongly recommend “The Day Before Disclosure” www.thedaybeforedisclosure.com...
A few narrow minded permenatly negative people have critisiced this doco as having too many of the same old people and stories.

I on the other hand consider it to be the best and most well presented of all major UFO incidents. If you really did want to educate the masses 24 hours before announcing to the world that they are here – then this is the doco I would show everyone.

Fantastic documentary that.

Very powerful bit of film-making and very well handled for a subject that could have easily been done very badly / insensitively.

I would second the recommendation for The Bridge with the caveat that it may be a bit heavy for a friday night.

Wow this is awesome. I literally have enough to keep me occupied for a few months worth of watching. Thanks for all the replies!

Vanhippi I wanted to watch that when it was on More 4 in the UK a while back but I wasn't sure if it would really bum me out or not as good as it may be!

Stars for everybody!

BRL if you can use Hulu, here is a really good docu I just watched yesterday about first century Rome. And, as a bonus, there are tons of others, on a variety of subjects, at the same site...

Hulu

The Rome docu's are under the "empires" tab, currently on the second menu page!

www.thedaybeforedisclosure.com...

I enjoyed it and there is a video at the beginning where a star seems to fly over from the left of screen to the right. I filmed this recently over edinburgh and it is not the first time it has done so. The same UFO communicated something to me back in may 7th (referring to itself as the herald) but that is another story

edit on 8-10-2010 by SmokeJaguar67 because: (no reason given)

The video is not great because the camera was set to daylight shooting but I was in a big hurry just to capture it on film so I was hoping just to be able to film it, all other considerations secondary. The star I filmed was much brighter than assumed and I was trying to debunk it as the ISS as I filmed it because - I was hardly believing what I was seeing again.

Thanks again for all the suggestions, have a few websites added to the ole favourites now too, so plenty of watching to be done. I have to say that each documentary is either one I have heard about and wanted to watch or one which has definitely piqued my interest!

I won't let you know what I have decided to go with this evening so as not to offend anyone!

BRL, for future viewing, check out this site.

Free Documentaries

There's only a few hundred there. As if you haven't already been overloaded, but there are some really great ones there, The Power Of Nightmares, Century Of Self, Evidence Of Revision(all twelve hours of it LOL).

I might have to watch that one on the Golden Gate Bridge as it looks interesting. If I have the time tonight, after watching my Reds beat up on the Phillies(I hope).
