What about the news about the two Japanese men caught with $134B worth of US bonds, they were never charged with anything. There was never a follow up to the story about what happened to them and no verification that the bonds were fake. There was a total media blackout.

One of my favorites that was never heard from again was about 20 years ago.

There was a "breaking news" story on BBC Radio as the lead story (and the BBC is VERY reliable) that archaeologists had discovered the "Valley of The Queens" in Egypt. Apparently it made the treasures found in "The Valley of The Kings" look like they were paupers just getting started.

It was one of those "more to follow as we find out more" news stories, that was immediately squashed by someone out there. Never heard about it again. Friends and relatives also told me that they had heard the same broadcast (it was a rush hour news bulletin while everyone stuck in traffic on their way home) and no one heard about it again.

It might also have helped explain why there is about 1200 years of Egyptian history missing between Ramases II / Tutankhamun and the last Pharoah, Cleopatra.

Yeah, I remember this one, particularly the one to South East Asia, which took out the entire internet to the whole of South East Asia.

These all happened very close together - seemed like someone was making a concerted effort to shut off large parts of the planet's internet infrastructure.

Definitely puzzling that no one followed up on this in MSM.

Wow. Just wow.

Panicking, Vance said, he called the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, where hostage experts got on the phone and told him “you’re about to be kidnapped. Lock yourself in a room with all the weapons you can get your hands on.”‘

The military sent a Special Forces team to rescue them, Vance said, and the two men showed the soldiers where the weapons caches were stored. At the embassy, the men were debriefed and allowed to sleep for a few hours. “I thought I was among friends,” Vance said.

The men said they were cuffed and hooded and driven to Camp Cropper, where Vance was held for nearly three months and his colleague for a little more than a month.

Here's something you never read about:
About how US torture methods have been plagiarized from a gestapo memo regarding “Verschärfte Vernehmung”, aka, “enhanced interrogation”.. and how both the Nazis and John Yoo argued that its ok to torture those not in uniform... that is literally a fashion war..lol some clothes get you tortured, others don't..lol

here and on The Atlantic here

"The phrase “Verschärfte Vernehmung” is German for “enhanced interrogation”. It’s a phrase that appears to describe a form of torture that would leave no marks, and hence save the embarrassment pre-war Nazi officials were experiencing as their wounded torture victims ended up in court. The methods are indistinguishable from those described as “enhanced interrogation techniques” by the president. As you can see from the Gestapo memo (click on picture at the top of this post), moreover, the Nazis were adamant that their “enhanced interrogation techniques” would be carefully restricted and controlled, monitored by an elite professional staff,"

Hey guys. I distinctly remember about 10-11 years ago there was a news story about an item that was going to soon be on sale that would turn any water into clean drinking water. Salt water, dirty muddy water, etc... and it was portable and small. I recall this because even back then(I was younger) I wanted one because it sounded so cool and it'd be huge for survival, camping, and things of that nature. I've NEVER seen a commercial or another news story for it again.

Funny, I currently work with both Donald Vance and Nathen Ertel and I never knew the extent of their experiences. I knew that they worked for a security company and things went bad, but they never spoken about the imprisonment and their treatment. I worked with Nathen in both Iraq and Afghanistan. so it must be something that they just want to put behind them. I too had similar experiences, not to this extent, but it is true and happens everyday, I was forced out of KBR because I was standing up for what was right, trying to out the wrong doers. At one points, a lot of senior management were fired, this was to cover up the biggest crook of them all. Anyways, I was out of a job and it was business as usual.

Yes I do.
I later decided these were small remot control units with LEDS availavle on the streets of asia, I think available everywhere now days.
They are very cool cheap remote control toys. Although the reange is tiny. Quite easilt controlled in a large crowd, so someone who has never seen one may think it is something more than it is.

Here is a little ditty from around 2005 that you dont really ever hear too much about these days.

US Audit - $9 billion in funds missing from Iraq

Cool thread...keep em coming

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Nearly $9 billion of money spent on Iraqi reconstruction is unaccounted for because of inefficiencies and bad management, according to a watchdog report published Sunday.

An inspector general's report said the U.S.-led administration that ran Iraq until June 2004 is unable to account for the funds.

"Severe inefficiencies and poor management" by the Coalition Provisional Authority has left auditors with no guarantee the money was properly used," the report said.

"The CPA did not establish or implement sufficient managerial, financial and contractual controls to ensure that [Development Fund for Iraq] funds were used in a transparent manner," said Stuart W. Bowen Jr., director of the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction.

The $8.8 billion was reported to have been spent on salaries, operating and capital expenditures, and reconstruction projects between October 2003 and June 2004, Bowen's report concluded.

WTC7 collapse being reported 20 mins early on the BBC will always stand out to me. I love (in a dark way) that WTC7 is clearly visible on the skyline during the report! I wonder if someone allowed this to happen to hint to the truth?

for balance, here's BBC refuting the conspiracy allegations:

I remember back in the early 80's Tom Brokaw said on the nightly news that the coast guard had detected something moving along the bottom of the ocean floor that was about a mile wide. To the best of my recolection that was it and he said he would update with any further info but I never heard anything else on it.

That always kinda stuck with me.

When the Bilderberg Group had a meeting here in Sweden in 2001 SVT, our equivalent to America's PBS, actually did a segment on it. I guess I should point out that SVT is much bigger in Sweden than PBS is in America. SVT is just as big as our corporate channels.

Here's another classic. Every TV station in Oklahoma City (including confirmation by governor Frank Keating) announcing that two additional bombs were recovered from the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. By all accounts, they were "very sophisticated and even more powerful than the first." The additional bombs were also detailed in the daily incident reports of every military and law enforcement agency at the scene.

I still get pissed whenever I hear DHS, SPLC, ADL and the corporate media refer to "domestic terrorists like Timothy McVeigh."

Anyone remember this?

Apparently it was shunned by local government and I heard little to nothing else about it since.

I am slightly skeptical about how efficient it is and think the cost of the instructions is quite expensive but if it works then it is pennies to pay in comparison to regular fuel bills. Some people are saying it's a scam but that could just be a smear campaign.

Here is an ancient video describing what happens if you invent free energy generators. Again, I am skeptical about some aspects of these stories but it is very interesting, none the less.

Eta: Nicola Tesla was a fine example of what happens.

I'm currently looking for a USA Today article titled, "CIA cannot disprove Saddam's claim to be Nebuchadnezzar”. Wouldn't surprise me if that was completely taken off the internet.

Crazy stuff

Yes, the 'free energy' coverup is huge! Too many powerful people would lose money and will do anything to postpone it.
