Monica Lewinsky says she feels betrayed by Bill Clinton's failure to acknowledge how he destroyed her life in his newly released memoirs.

In an interview with ITV to be shown on Friday, the former White House intern best known for her affair with the 42nd U.S. president says she was disappointed at how their relationship is addressed.

www.reuters.co.uk...

It seems that Bill sure knows how to pick them. Clearly Monica's life has been affected by her affair with Bill. However, yet I have not heard anyone of the main characters in this sad play talking about how their actions have affected the office of the President of the United States of America.

I find it absolutely funny that these women act as if they were forced into having sex with this guy. Hello Monica are you saying he raped you? If not then you were a willing participant and have no basis to blame him for ruining your life. You were umm.. 20 something not 16 right?

I don't love Clinton but women blaming a man for ruining their life over consentual sex and relationship is laughable. Was it not Monica who brought the entire thing up and started the entire problem to begin with? If anything she ruined his life by opening her big mouth. Literally! LOL

Hmmm yeah I think he should apologise for ruining her life, I mean before she was a fat intern who offered herself to the president, then infamous, gatecrashing star parties and getting the opportunity to host programs on TV with neither the looks or talent to have achieved this. Wait didn't she want him to find her a great job too before the scandal broke? Yeah he ruined her life. She is ambitious and totally lacking in morality. She should be apologising to Hillary for what she did.

I believe if she had any basis for a rape accuasation, she'd probably ended up dead in another Starbucks robbery (in which nothing was stolen). Either that, or she'd been with the first two agents going through the window at Waco. Of course the parkbench suicide is certainly a oldy but a goody. 6 self-inflicted wounds to the head, ya know.

I agree with everything you said in that post, but IMO I think Bill owes an apology to Hillary, America, and yes even Monica. Even if she is a money grubbing star seeking skank, he did let his wife try and ruin her life with the use of private investigators and other forms of smearing.

I think a lot of people aren't owning up to their obligations on both sides of the political fence.

Yeah, if she had tried to say that she would have gotten "Fostered" for sure.

hey, way to go! You've come up with a new term. You know what would be cool? T-shirts that say, "Shut Up or Get Fostered" or "Go Foster Yourself" Oh, bound to be backlash from that one.

... and here's another chance for Monica to get just a tad bit more publicity for herself.

I'm waiting for the Broadway adaptation of "Monica's Story", "My Life" and "Living History" all wadded together into a musical!

No the Nanny running herself over with the car she was driving! No, that's a Bush.
How about the women with the rape charges that was ...oops another Bush!

Clinton has done all the apologizing he has to do, by evidence of his strong marriage.

Monica is the one to aplogize

And you claim to not be a Democrat.

The couple that are barely seen together and spend as little time together as possible.

Yep sounds like your typical American marriage to me

Ya know, I felt just a leeeetle bit of sympathy for her.
Here's a 20 yr old intern in the WHITE HOUSE and the F***ing President of the United States pays attention to her. So, yeah she's gonna do what he asks. And yeah she probably is in over her head and cares more than he does.
She's nothing but an amateur groupie, only Slick is NO rock star.

But, hey, it's years later now, get OVER it Monica...you are no longer that naive 20 year old. Grow the hell up! Meditate! Get help...or something.

What a barbed comment, Agent47 - "typical American marriage", and unfortunately, possibly very true.

Ms. Lewinsky stated in her interview that she just wants to get on with her life. Allowing herself to be interviewed gives the lie to that. Plus her comments were more suited to a TV soapie script than to a supposedly mature woman of 30. Oh, I forgot - Clinton ruined her life - after she instigated the whole affair.

I've been listening to Monica whine all day and I'm a woman..so, I think I can express my womanly opinion on the subject. Dear ole Monica fell for the line that lots of young girls get...the old "You know I really care for you, but I have this unhappy marriage that I have to stay with for the kids sake (in this case the Presidency's sake). So, she fell for the biggest line that woman hear. Most of us learn, pretty quickly, that line is a load of b.s.
So, I can't feel really sorry for Monica.
Whoever said that she was falling for the groupie syndrome is soooo right.
But, Monica, grow up, get therapy, stop forcing us to hear how much he loved you and cared you and everyone else knows that's not true.
And, btw, this isn't meant as male-bashing. Just 52 years of personal experience.
(Well, not really 52 years of experience, but I'm 52 years old.

If Monica feels hard done by, she should write her own version. That way she'll get her story out and make a few dollars in the process, same as Bill did.
