Not as sick as these Westboro Bastard Church folks that protest at soldier funerals with hateful sayings. Though I disagree with war and all that jazz, protesting at the funeral of a soldier is the last thing I'd ever do.

I saw this on ABC World News last night and it has been bothering me ever since. This is one exception to the rule of freedom of speech I could justify breaking when it comes to protesting the funerals of the war dead. I don't even buy the idea that if you stop this, then you create a precedent because such a thing as common decency and respect must prevail. The war dead have an unequivocal right to be laid to rest in peace.

On a personal note, if I was burying family or friends and these loons turned up, they would probably be the ones going six feet under.

To all of the posters saying Ozzy is a "Satan worshiper", you obviously never actually listened to his lyrics. He and his family actually profess to be Christians.
As far as that #ing church protesting homosexuality at the funerals of fallen soldiers goes, I have to agree with whatukno and say, "You can do it Ozzy! Bite his freeking head off!!!!" (line from Little Nickey)
Seriously, I'd love to congregate in their church parking lot and protest something like mosquitoes, saying that malaria is all their fault because their god created mosquitoes to plague the Egyptians. It doesn't have to make sense, it just has to be obnoxious and screamed through a megaphone. Let's see how they like it when their sanctity is violated.

Easy now, granted, Ozzy's solo career was a bit hit & miss and too reliant on the Overproduced American Hard Rock sound, however, I will not have a bad word said about Ozzy while he and Sabbath raising the Devil with there ground breaking and seminal music, it just simply wouldn't be Cricket.... I've been an Ozzy fan since his Black Sabbath days. In those days, churches would preach against him and his music. If they'd stop and listen to his lyrics, they'd see that he's actually a genius. Yes he "partied" a lot but now he's paying the price. It can't take away the fact that this guy is an artist.

I enjoy many of his songs and the one that should apply to Phelps and his followers should no doubt be "You Can't Kill Rock and Roll."
