The new oath has now been passed in the Knesset. In my view this was conjured up to make it even more difficult for the Arabs to make peace or if the Palestinians demand a bi-lateral state of one nation - two peoples if peace talks fail which Abbas threatened to do.
Smart move by Israel but there is a price to pay down the track for such a move.
