After first listening to John Lear I thought ok maybe this is true. But after listening to him for awhile I'm beginning to think he is full of crap. I don't know what you guys think but John Lear had caused me to stop believing that aliens exist.

Dear johnnie_walker

Very real person, very real qualifications, the big question is do all his ideas add up. I suspect not all, but if only 1% is real then that is a real big deal.

May I just say whatever he says or thinks is that. his. My thoughts and opinions are just that. mine. your belief or not in aliens is just that. yours.

Aliens either exist or they don't.

I don't base my opinion on John Lear or anyone. I suggest you do the same.

Is he full of it? maybe. but he's entertaining, and his view about living in love without fear is alright in my books. A lot more worthwhile a message, true or not, than many others out there.

He does have the qualifications but does he have reliable ex government sources besides bob lazar or Lou bouldin? And does he have any reliable sources today? My problem is that he admits there is no proof to what he is saying. He said he has no proof in an interview.

Dear johnnie_walker

Man if we had proof we would not be on ATS.

The question is do you believe the lying hounds that take your money every single day you live, or do you believe they are lying through their teeth about just about every thing let alone UFO and ET.

My two penth goes with follow the cash.

If what the likes of John Lear says is true and it got really known, there cash would evaporate like the morning mist.

As to John Lear himself I believe him to be real, check with the Federal Aviation Administration.

As to his opinions concerning UFOs and extraterrestials (which I presume is what you're alluding to), I believe him to be a man with a vivid imagination who can rush to a conclusion based on very little proof or indications. His gut-feeling often proves to be enough. It doesn't mean he's totally insane or a scam, it simply means you have to check and double check everything he says, because it's not sure he did.

He partially corroborate some of what Bob Lazar says concerning Groom Lake UFOs, they had a mutual UFO test flight sighting. Both were grilled by investigative journalist George Knapp, and both came off as credible to me.

John Lear believes in what he says...this much I know (chatted to him). He is truely convinced.

However.

you can believe in something but it not be true. He has, in my view, about 10-20% potential truth wrapped up in 80+% paranoia and bad info.

He is not a disinfo agent or something...but no doubt many of his percieved friends are feeding him stuff to make him and anyone in the same field as him sound completely bat$#@% insane...thats how this game works.

Those "unnamed sources" are often positioned there to tear down any truth by clouding it with soo much junk it is almost impossible to figure out just what the truth is.

Otherwise, Lear is a good guy...like on a person to person level. Friendly chap really.

His career has put him in the company of many people in the know.

Who knows what he has been privy to. I suspect he knows things that are pretty shocking relating to the "Core Story" of what the gov. knows and is truly up to. I find his thoughts on the secret space program intriguing and most likely probable. There have been murmurings about this stuff from others not just him.

I assume you do not know that John Lear isn’t around here anymore, so he cannot defend himself to your in my opinion crappy post here.

But John Lear is one of the important people for me who had caused me to become convinced that aliens exist and are already here.

Speaking as a person who had the opportunity to chat with Mr. Lear a couple of times on ATS, My opinion...

His qualifications are real. He's a pretty nice guy who seems to passionately believe the things he says. I think he's just a really eccentric guy - to be respected as a person, but whose ideas should be taken with a grain of salt.

Excellent post, I am agreement with you, I know John Lear and as a friend I like him very much, do I agree with everything he says, nope I sure don't.

His message about love and not living in fear is the best message he can put out there in my opinion, I would never disagree with that.
