The themes in this story certainly aren't new and anyone walking a path of enlightenment will have realised this is how the soul level works.

That is a great story that resonates with me, but the goal of maturation hasn't completely jived with my experience thus far. Maybe that's my own fault. I have a hard time reading about the Sanduskys, or suicide bombers, or Charles Manson and thinking "Hey - that was all me! I just wasn't 'mature' enough yet." Or "you know, those guys were all pretty wrong, but that was me, they were just learning. They'll probably be cooler in the next life."

Seriously though, maybe I'm not mature enough to have genuine empathy for what was going on in all of those cases. I even have a hard time thinking any of those were any feasible version of me, but it's plausible.

So if I've been indoctrinated into some kind of ill informed perspective, I guess I can blame myself! Great post.
