The specific situation that occurs during bullying is the fault of the child of course. The reason for the behavior in general however is a learnt one. And children are learning it from adults.

Yes, children are learning it from adults (who are people) with attitudes like those I have outlined above. There seems to be no disagreement here.

Sorry but gay or not... If you kill yourself because people torment you then you shouldn't be alive anyway. Life is a precious gift to have and ANYONE that takes their own is selfish and a moron.... I feel no remorse for these idiots that would remove themselves from this world just because they cared too much of what people thought of them. All these emo kids need to quit being so dumb. Life gets better as you get older!

I got the hell bullied out me at school. I'd be lying if I didn't say that suicide seemed like an option after a while.

These days I'm a very happy adult who is generally appreciated. This isn't the equivolent of someone sitting at home doing nothing then offing themselves, or being dumped by their partner and then offing themselves ... When you're bullied at school, a place you're forced to go for years, it really takes its toll on you. Especially since many adults just pass it off as 'thats what kids do!'

You have to get it into your head that the bullied kid there in the corner might be the next Bill Gates or whatever if they are given the right environment to grow. Most people who are bullied grow out of these feelings.

All I'm saying is ANYONE who takes their own life is not worthy of having a life in the first place. People pick on people and people are bullies. Suck it up and deal with it.

It's like the law of nature, The weak die and the strong survive.

I have a similar approach at times when a person takes their own life, and I find it very dissappointing.

But I think with children you have to have a little give and take. There but for the grace of God go I and all that. Anyway, we'll agree to have a slight disagreement of the issue.

It doesn't change the fact that bullies need their butts kicked.

Teenagers being emotionally tortured to death for being who they are is not the law of nature.

It's devastating that you can have such a mindset.
