Lets take a close look at the symbolism in the game. First off, the halo. Who wears halos? Angels so to speak. In Halo 3, Spartan is called a demon, by demons, lol. Halos are metal rings that do not float above the head like they are depicted. In all reality they are actually embedded in the skin around the skull. I believe it is being implemented by corrupt people in the government. I could be wrong but my glass is half full. It could be a make/break situation, i do not know. Nevertheless there is a device with the ring inside it that clamps around the back of the head that kind of ratchets the copper/metal ring/wiring through the skin.

Lets take a look at Jesus, he had a crown of thorns. Did he actually have multiple rings around his head?
They couldnt stop Jesus then and they cant stop him now!

You do know what the Halo is in the game don't you?

It didn't have anything to do with circles around anyones head.

Right.

Halo is also a descriptive word used for all types of things that look like ...... Halos?

It is the thing bolted to the head for neck and spine injuries.

It is the thing that lightning does around planes and automobiles.

The terms "Halo" "Demon" "Ghost" and about a billion other very common vernacular are used to describe things that resemble the accepted definition. Do you think when I call some loafing co-worker a "Ghost" that I mean it in the paranormal sense? Or when I call my dam puppy a "demon" that I mean it in some religious text?

People need to stop searching for symbolism in everything. That is my biggest pet-peeve on ATS. Does symbolism happen? Sure! Is Lady GaGa some master of it? HELL NO! It is used because it is recognized, it looks cool, it gets people talking, and ultimately it helps sell things. That's it. No deeper.

wow this is pure nonsense... do your homework buddy... the "halos" have the power to wipe out life in their respective parts in the galaxy... The halo you might be thinking about is when the spartan places the disc containing the AI into his helmet. Halo is just a video game produced by a bunch of young computer geeks. Not a huge conspiracy pertaining to christianity. so quit smoking your marijuana and come back to reality buddy

This is the worst researched thread I've seen since John Lear claimed that the WTC towers were hit by holographic planes

You don't even know what the storyline of the game is !

But the fact remains, people have metal rings embedded into the skin around the skull. I'm giving you my testimony ya dummies! Unless you are the kinds of people that go around putting halos on unsuspecting and unwilling people and are basically tryna cover it up.

You are giving us your "testimony" about metal rings being embedded in the skin surrounding the skull of people? Supposedly by the government, or for some purpose beyond typical healthcare?

Now that would be a good thread, especially if you are not schizo or delusional.

GIve us more "testimony" please.

HUH ?
Wait no HUH ????
Halo's have a bunch of meanings.
HALO in the game has nothing to do with what you think it does.
In military parlance it means High Altitude Low Opening.
on and on and on.

Go back to the drawing board on this one !

People who speak in code were trained to speak in code. Theres all different types of methods. For some odd reason codes and symbols are my expertise. The difference is i'm training myself at my own level.

ex

Just think of me as the tortoise getting belittled by a rabbit. The rabbit knows hes good, extremely over confident, but thats where he lacks. Thats when my "weakness" overpowers the willy wuddle wastard.
If the rabbit would have just jogged his way through the race with ease he would have won because the test was about time.

ex

A class of students take the same test at the same time. Somebody can finish the test first and have the worst score and the person who finishes last can have the top score. It's not about who does something first cus it's already been done before.

What kinds of code? What makes you an expert? Please be specific.

Just think of me as the tortoise getting belittled by a rabbit.

Why would we do that?

The rabbit knows hes good, extremely over confident, but thats where he lacks.

Wait in what subject is the rabbit an expert in?

If the rabbit would have just jogged his way through the race with ease he would have won because the test was about time.

Rabbits hop.

A class of students take the same test at the same time.

What was the subject of the test? How long did they have to take the test? How many questions?

Somebody can finish the test first and have the worst score and the person who finishes last can have the top score.

Or the other way around.

It's not about who does something first cus it's already been done before.

Then how could anyone have done "it" first?

So what does any of this have to do with the game HALO ?

I guess you can say my previous post is out of context, but nevertheless the original point im trying to make is that HALOS ARE METAL RINGS EMBEDDED IN THE SKIN AROUND THE SKULL! No symbology here. I'm being completely forward about this. No hidden meaning pal.

Now as for the game, Spartan's enemies call him a demon. The first time you heard about halos, who or what were they referenced to? I'm gonna speak for myself and say angels.

Forget about if an acronym was created for the word halo. Halos are metal rings, ya big dummy!

Why forget about an acronym?
Also, what about all the other meanings? Do we forget about those too ? And I'm the dummy

It has everything to do with the price in China. Don't you get what he is sayin...something about Halos on heads being metal rings....errrr...something....wait...dang...I'm lost.

Hey, OP, what is the point you are trying to make again?

i didn't know you can turn a conspiracy out of halo LOL

i've just played reach. it's an awesome title. sorry to hear bungie won't be making anymore halos

my head hurts after reading this...i honestly can't connect the dots....so you're saying that because a halo was made for the head, that there's some sort of government conspiracy in the Halo video games?

So does that double for a conspiracy in The Legend of Zelda? That every time I collect a piece of the tri-force, that im somehow going to die from all the triangles I drew in the government regulated geometry class that I had to take back in College?

I'm seriously not trying to be offensive, but OP, are you high?

The Halo games are NOTHING like you mention.
