Just One American Voice

I would just like to address the people of other countries that have visited our country, that think we are a bit off our rockers, to put it kindly.

When I came into this lifetime, it is America that I landed in. I would like to think I have lived many other places around the world in many other lifetimes. I do have to admit though, I am glad I landed here for this round as opposed to some other places. It really is a great country, once you get to know it or understand it a little better.

The keyword there is Country. I think many seem to forget that this land is Vast. You could easily drop Europe in the middle of it and how many countries would that be all with different cultures? We just happen to call all our different countries States. These states are like mini countries with their own laws, and their own ways of doing things.
All of them have their good bad and ugly, just like the rest of the world.

A deep south southern state could tell you to bug off while serving you tea, and a northern state like New York would just flat all tell you to bug off with no niceties what so ever. That is just how they both roll...

One also has to remember that we are the country that said give us your tired poor and hungry. So, add that to the pot of different cultures as well. It really makes for quite a stew when you think about it.

I for one wonder myself what happened to our fundamentals. I wonder why we feel it is ok to pay ball players millions of dollars, yet our teachers and firemen for example, get so little.

I wonder why our Constitution is getting more trampled by the day.I wonder why we keep electing more criminals into government that have no qualms of taking us for a ride. This list could go on and on as well.

I am just one human that has probably had a friend somewhere along the line of almost every culture you can think of. I never thought anything about what or who they were, or where they came from, I always just took them at face value. If they were a good person then great, I had a good friend for a time being.

I am glad our States are United. I don't have to worry about Connecticut lobbing a missile into Massachusetts., because they don't like whatever.

We still have plenty of people that will help someone in need or stranded by the side of the road. You won't hear about them in the news, but you can bet your bottom dollar we do have them. Some carry guns, some don't, but they will help their fellow man without thinking twice about it.
We are also pretty darn good at helping countries when they have a disaster on their hands.

Because of our versatility, I get to enjoy southern friend chicken, Texas steak, Chicago style pizza, sushi, and that awesome hot dog you can only get at a ball game.

Are we loud and obnoxious and seem a little angry? You bet we are. Know why? Because we are mad. We are mad that we, as well as you see it slipping away ever so slowly. We are mad the monster has gotten so big, it is daunting to get a handle on now.

Rest assured though one way or another, we obnoxious loud and angry people will take back what we know is our rights. It may get ugly, but we will do it. We've done it before, we will do it again, and when we do, I bet you find that we will be the great country once again leading the true way to freedom for the rest of the world to see, the way its suppose to be. Then maybe the gun carrying folks can finally put them down, and maybe you will hear how one neighbor helped their neighbors in the news, or maybe how we as a country helped another for the Right reasons.

We are Americans and as a rule, we do like to laugh and love. We just have a few monsters in the house right now that we need to slay, but its ok, because that is what we do. We do take care of the problem eventually, because we know it IS OUR RIGHT, as humans TO BE FREE. This, as has been mentioned, is what we were taught, and if we know anything, that is one rule of thumb we are quite clear on.

Glad you had a good time here I hope we have tidied up a bit before your next visit, It is so embarrassing to be caught with your dirty laundry on the line when one has a guest visit. We will leave the light on for ya!

Just for the record, I would also like to say that Im not happy about invading other countries for all the wrong reasons, or having to digest the fact that maybe, just maybe, my own country committed a terrorism upon itself.

I am happy that we can bring new technology to other countries though to help them grow and become better.

I guess what Im saying is I am one little person here amongst many that don't like it anymore then you do. We all have our own problems, and I think the dam is about to break very soon. Hopefully when the dust settles, everything will be new and improved and peace will be the new way of life.

I have to say I feel a little sad that I might be the only one that feels this way. I know that just can't possibly be. Why is it no one cares what the little man has to say? Is this not how we came to be in some of the mess we are now in?
Does it not disturb some of you that others see us as power hungry destructive and angry people? I know I mentioned we may need to destruct once again, and I really dont like feeling like that, but I feel it will finally maybe be for the greater good to wipe out a bad infection that has been festering for a long time, but really, we the little people being associated with the big dogs like we all act that way? Doesn't that bother you just a little when you know it is really different on a one to one level?

Its NOT the american people that are the problem.. Ive many friends there .. The problem is the psychotic u.s government and its actions around the world that has earned the u.s a bad reputation around the world.. Put your psychotic leaders in the mental ward where they belong and everyone would win... And contrary to popular belief in america the world isnt out to attack and kill americans ..

Thank you for your reply. I guess Im lucky to be pretty sure that I know most of the rest of the world doesn't want to kill Americans except for the other nuts out there. On our good days we have lot's of great things to offer. Just so much anger festering everywhere, and I know it is because a lot of the people are frustrated pretty much by their so called leaders. I myself wouldn't even take a alien to meet my leader. I wouldn't insult the alien...

Hopefully with November coming around for us soon, we can get some house cleaning done. I just hope apathy hasn't totally set in.
