Why Didn't I Think of THIS???? Recent disinformation attempt....

So I was listening to a podcast last night and the host had a great point.....

Last week we have what should have been one of the most covered and talked about events of the week:

This was not your run-of-the-mill Washington press conference. UFO researcher Robert Hastings organized a briefing yesterday (Sept. 27) to issue a warning about aliens having visited our nuclear facilities.

Then just a day before we hear THIS:

Did you know that the United Nations has a specific office dedicated to the "peaceful use" of outer space? Not only is the Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) real—they're set to appoint the first Earth ambassador to aliens. And she shall be our Jodie Foster!

The two stories compete for time and space, until we hear this:

London’s Sunday Times reported that the United Nations had appointed Malaysian astrophysicist Mazlan Othman to serve as Earth’s ambassador when extraterrestrials make contact with humans. According to Fox News, the U.N. Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) is denying Othman’s appointment, calling the whole story “nonsense.”

THAT was September 28th.

So what's our timeline:

September 26th: OH LOOK WE HAVE A SPACE AMBASSADOR AT THE UN!!!
September 27th: highly important, real, and interesting press conference
September 28th: Sorry folks, looks like there's no space ambassador.

I'm convinced this was a disinformation attempt designed to confuse and draw the oxygen out of the room for the real discussion.

Its old, been done.

The news about the UFO's seen at nuke sites isn't new though, not even for the MSM.

It was discussed on Larry King in 2008, there are threads here on ATS about it.

I have read about the nuclear facility guys in Tim Good's books also, but they never held an official press conference.

Do you think it is possible that this is a co-ordinated disclosure exercise?
