This is a great story! It made me get teary at the end.

What a wonderful and selfish thing to do for their dad.

I love stories like this.

It made me feel like giving you a star and a flag. Other than that Merriam-Webster (what I know of it) does not offer the appropriate words to convey how that story made me feel.

Thanks TA,
ET

felt like a feel good story, but I get the impression their is a nasty twist in the tail somewhere.

But the story itself was nice

That was awesome, very thoughtful, and it made me miss my dad.

On an aside, did anyone notice the sky at about the 9:02 mark?

Good story.

I have a 1973 Sportster HD with a 1978 Low Rider front end and it is chopped to look like a baby Fat Boy HD.

Due to illness I could not ride it for almost three years. You can imagine what happened to the inside of the gas tank and the carburetor.

I am now feeling much better and thanks to my daughter and son-in-law I will be riding mine by Christmas.

I sent it to a friend of theirs out of town just to get it checked out and ready to ride again.

My daughter has never kept a secret so I found out it is getting a new tank, new carburetor
or and a paint job.

So your story just made my morning except I'm waiting for you to get to the punch line which I think will be sad.

Edit to add yes I did see what appeared to be UFO's in the film but I played it off in my head.

Oh I cried. No question about it. And not afraid to admit it. It was a good thing actually, to know that somewhere down in this disaster of a person filled with 7 years worth of conspiracy theories that I still have a caring ticker. It is easy to forget the simple joy of watching someone else experience joy brought on by you. I think I am due for my next assignment.

If we ever get a friends list back, I am putting all of you on it- if you'll have me that is. Sorry, didn't even catch that you all had replied to this thread till now...Thanks, thought this was another dead thread.
