'US not after terrorists in Afghanistan'

presstv.ir

The Afghan president said the security situation in Afghanistan does not improve as the US-led foreign forces have not been targeting the militants' main hideouts in the war-torn country, the office of Karzai's spokesman said in a Sunday statement, a Press TV correspondent reported.

Karzai said on Saturday that the US-led foreign forces were pursuing their own national security interests in Afghanistan.

Karzai doesn't seem like he's willing to play much Ball anymore with the US.

Afghanistan is becoming another Vietnam and with the Secretary Of Defense recently stating that they are NOT ever leaving Afghanistan, this scenario is becoming much more plausible.

I wonder if the US will contemplate another change in regime over in Afghanistan if Karzai continues to defy and critize the current US led mission?

What do you all think? Are his days numbered?

Isn't Karzai part of that interest, I thought him and his brother was part of CIA payroll, or maybe they have no choice?

His brother is routing drugs, and Karzai is a dummy.

He certainly use to be, although political pressure from his Afghans in regards to him not owning up to his promises or being more hard on US mistakes and such are probably what is currently fueling his rhetoric.

In the wake of charges from Afghan officials that civilians were killed in two attacks over the weekend, the American military apologized for one episode in which a child was killed and two other children wounded and said it was investigating the deaths of several civilians in the other episode.

www.nytimes.com...

They intentionally kill civilians and innocent people, they know innocent people are there, but the target's life is more important than the innocence's death.

They have terrorized Afghans long enough, if that is not terrorism, then I don't know what is.

They want us to believe terrorism somehow revolves around the size of your beard.

Like many u.s puppets before him he will end up 1. Arrested / tried on trumped up charges.. 2. Imprisoned 3. Assasinated 4. Have a tragic accident... 5. Be overthrown and replaced by the u.s .. Or any number of other options that the u.s likes to use on its puppets once they outlive their usefulness... And the stupidity will continue...

I think he is right.

Afghanistan-Pakistan seem to be getting sick and tired of the BS. These BS wars are possibly the only thing that is keeping the US economy from collapsing sooner, and i can see that as soon as the US pull out from Iraq(completely) and Afganistan, they will be looking for more economic stimulus via IRAN.

North Korea for the US is a very low priority (if ever) simply because there is nothing there to profit from. No resources and if they did attack NK, it would cost them $$$$ just trying to bring them into the 21st century (infrastructure/democracy(phfff)/aid).
