Hello everybody!

I'm currently in the market to buy a used car and I'm hesitating
between a Chevy Cobalt and a Honda Civic (from 2001 to 2004).

I'm looking for a reliable/fuel efficient car and I'm willing to spend between 4000 and 6000 CAD$.

Wich one do you think is the best?

Thanks!

I have a civic Type R and trust me for a 2L engine it is a beast. Iv remapped it and increased the rev range, all this srains the engine but Type R's have one of the strongest engines ever built.

can do 150K miles and will still run like new also has nice MPG but once the V-TEC kicks in at 6200rpm you can see your fule going down literally.

I have a 1999 Honda Civic with 219,700 miles on it. It still gets 40 mpg. I'll be driving it until it dies, and then I'll get another one.

Thanks!

I was hesitating between the two because I could get a 2007 Cobalt at 5999$, fully equipped. A 2007 Civic would probably cost about 10 000$...

I have a 2001 Civic. The best car I have owned by far. I can go about 350 miles on a tank of gas.
