With so many members from all over the globe I thought it would be exciting if you could all share some self-taken photos of your local wildlife and
why you like the picture. A change of pace from gloom and doom is always good!
I work at a wildlife rehabilitation center during the summer and recently started casually bird watching in the past year, admiring nature is one of
the best releases for me, raptors are my personal favorite.
Let's begin, I'll start!

This is a picture of a male Cooper's Hawk who's nest I was able to find a few months ago, usually they nest 30 yards higher so I was very lucky to
watch the couple both male and female interact. I would get so excited every time I visited them at least once a week, my timing was lucky as I would
always hear their "ki-ki-ki-ki" cry to each other and the swapping of food. Eventually their white fluff ball chicks were born and my most memorable
moment was watching Mom catch some type of rodent with absolute perfection, then feeding it to her chicks. I pray they come back to their nest next
year, they were the best Cooper's Hawk parents ever lol.
