Alert Button takes me to forums list

The alert button takes me to the forums list. Is there another way to alert within a thread?

Alerting on your post takes me to:
.abovetopsecret.com... (page not found, www is missing)

Seems to work for me still.

I clicked on alert on both of the posts above in fact and it takes me to the right page still.

Anyway, In the meantime can't you click on tools at the top of the page and then follow the link to where it says "complaint" instead?

I just noticed the drop down that allows you to alert on a post. My error is from hitting the alert beside the flag button at the bottom of the thread.

Oh, my mistake, I didn't even see that there.

ETA: I guess if it doesn't work though and you want to alert a thread you should maybe just alert the OP from the drop down menu instead as that seems to work still.
That's what I'd do anyway.

Same effect for me (from the button at the top of the thread)
I'm on IE.

off hand I'd say that the coding is simply missing the www.

But that might be too simple a guess.

ETA:

Nope, I'm right. Click on the "alert" link and manually add the "www". That fixes it.
