Tea Party Coloring Book Publisher Says He's Getting Death Threats

www.foxnews.com

Bell told FoxNews.com on Thursday that his office began receiving "odd" phone calls and e-mails five days after the release of the coloring book on Sept. 5. Bell said he did not report those incidents to authorities.

Bell said he has received messages containing "horrible, nasty, vitriolic stuff," including a desire for someone to place him in a "chloroform headlock" since its publication.

To be fair, this is second-hand information; they have provided none of the actual messages.

Nothing that should have been unexpected, the Tea Party was hijacked by Fox News so now it has all the same enemies.

And so,,,, you're saying, there are no nut cases out there?
There are no, T. P. Haters, just because fox news mentioned this incident it's not real.
The T. P. owns fox news, that's your story and you're stinking with it.
OK, and the Democrats own no news agency, it's just FOX news that is own by an out side political force that frightens most of you, is that it?

I don't understand how the Tea Party "philosophy" fits in with ATS because we all know that even the Tea Party's version of history is bull#.

The constitution was written by freemasons and slave-owners, not liberty-loving, starry-eyed old men.

No sense in Laughing Out [snip] Loud.
Yes, I started the thread, But myself and my husband went out to walk our Blue Macaw and our 11 year old great grand daughter, who is very much into politics and believe will be very political one day, answered your reply, she is kinda upset about this, she is a Really Big Tea Party Follower

She is getting the beating she deserves as we speak ( type ) from Great Grand Dad.

I apologize for her reply to you, it was out there a little.

Be sure in between cookies he teaches her the importance of vetting even the pro-"stuff I like" articles.

No hard feelings; I do hope however that since she hopped on using your account you are withholding the hot fudge, teach her about consequences and all.

The hot fudge was with-held and no cherries either.
I feel sorry for her, I like my hot fudge and cherries on top of my ice cream.

Actually their having an argument at the moment about McDonnell and Palin.
Gramps says Palin needs to go back to Alaska and shut-up and the little one wants to see a Hillaryand Palin ticket, She seems to think it would take much to push old Hillary over to the Center of Right at least closer to a Libertarian.
GRAMPS is about to spit teeth and grab one of his guns

that was great can i borrow that?

its a kids coloring book for cryingout loud ;
whats the harm in kids today actually knowing what the statue of liberty looks like?
why can kids actually see what the flag looks like without those people burning them?
whats so wrong with knowing what the founding fathers look like for that fact either?

you know evertime i see some person on here trash the founders as being evil slave traders and so on and so forth......blah blah blah meh

its thanks to those people you even exist today like them love them or hate them they THEY are the ones who gave you that right! so in the grand scheme of things blahh.

as to the death threats ITS A COLORING BOOK to the people making those threats and just like the thought of it like this person below.....

But Michael Davis, a St. Louis-area Coffee Party organizer, told KSDK.com, "I think it's inappropriate. I really question whether it's even targeted at children. There's not a lot of coloring activities."

GET OVER YOURSELVES its a COLORING BOOK !!!!!!

it is aimed at children and last time i checked kids have short attentions spans so it doesnt need to be like a 2000 page healthcare bill.

if you people really believe in freedom of speech, freedom of expression i think its time you turn your short little attention spans elsewhere and stop indoctrining the american youth in to what YOU want----how about you let kids just be kids for once.

my 2 cents i post and you decide

I suppose we have to buy into all that Howard Zinn crap... So What If they we're slave owners all races we're slaves at one point... If you we're born in another point in history, you could have had a slave of some sort...
People had slaves from the dawn of time, it didn't make them bad people...

neo96, The 11 year old is right here and says YES, you can as long as you don't vote for Obama
in 2012 or any-other time, her words exactly

I'm proud of all my Kids and their kids, No, Pressure from us, No, None at all, but they are hard working Americans every last one, Not one of voting age voted for Obama

A comic book, that teaches our children who our founding fathers were? That's a bad thing, I want to know in
who's mind.

As far as slave owner ship goes, Who captured and sold the Slaves to the Slavers in the first place?
I know the answer, some white guy running around Africa with nothing better to do. Just slaving on his mind and chains dangling from his behind.

The issue here is that that it's a Tea Party coloring book is filed with questionable material. At one point the book claims that high taxes restrict freedom. It's alright, start them off young... Their your children, they won't need to think on their own.

"Who captured and sold the Slaves to the Slavers in the first place?" Is that some sorry attempt to downplay slavery in the US? Who drove the market? Would you like a few diamonds?

No ones down playing anything about slavery, but you haven't answered the question, I'll do that for you, Black Tribesmen, sold into slavery other Black Tribesmen to include their wives and kids.
Slavery in the U.S. what is that?
How about Slavery in other parts of the World still being practiced today? I know, I know only Americans are Slave owners and bigots and racist, RIGHT?
You're saying, high taxes does not restrict freedoms of people? You're saying we should not inform our young that high taxes with out representation is wrong, I believe you should receive something back for paying taxes don't you? Or don't you pay taxes?
How would you really know if the Tea Party Coloring book is really filled with questionable material? Is it because you don't like the T. P. movement or are you another Obama voter that is afraid a of REAL CHANGE?

How can you compare the Tea Party to the KKK? The KKK was created to run carpetbaggers out of the South after the Civil War and was later hijacked by white-supremacists. The Tea Party is an organization that wants America to get back to governmental basics that made our nation great. Are you denying that we were once a great nation? Do you know what the coloring book is about? It teaches children the fundmental ideas of why this nation exists.

I don't understand how the Tea Party "philosophy" fits in with ATS because we all know that even the Tea Party's version of history is bull#.

It would be noce if you could link the rest of us to references instead of imposing an opinion that's derived from the left.

The constitution was written by freemasons and slave-owners, not liberty-loving, starry-eyed old men.
At the beginning of this nation, freemasons and slave-owners were people of great influence. What you're saying is that the United States shouldn't have been formed on the basis of the men. What you're saying is that through out our history, the only people that had any influence in politics were men who were connected with secret societies and held another human being in bondage. There exists not one rags to riches story in the history of America. If anyone believes that there exists another nation better than the United States, even in todays climate, I suggest that they relocate there.

Watching CNN cover the story on the coloring book made my blood curl. The reporter was reading the text in this goofy voice blatantly ridiculing it though none of the book was offensive in any way. What ever happened to presenting the news without bias and allowing us to decide where we stand?
