Hello from Ohio

I've been a long time reader of these forums, for several years have kept an eye on your insights and ideas of things, but a recent news article I found to be of importance to me, led me to create an account to post it as a new topic since I didn't see anything new on it. Obviously I found out I need more posts. lol. So I figured I'd start off with saying hi and including a link so that if any of you more advanced members found the article interesting you could start a thread about it.

Darnit. I had second thoughts about including an external link in the introduction thread, but figured since the object buttons to select link, ex-text, etc. were provided that it'd be ok.

Do hope they permit it to stay.


The topics that most interest me tend to have to do with personal privacy and public rights, any health issues: Cancer, Crohn's, Gout, MS, ADHD and the like, and religions.

I do believe the world is quickly approaching an apex that will lead to an uprising and a third World War. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see tens of thousands of Americans lead a revolt to attempt to overthrow the government. The problem with that is I think the government sees it to, and that's why so much attention and research is being put into "Public Defense" systems like the heat ray or full-body scanners, tag that along with the Patriot Act and they now have way too much unchecked power.
