Was it just me or was that just terrible, for a 40 minute episode i was bored and it was not funny at all which is how its been for a while now. Was that just a stand alone episode or was that cannon? The show has taken a serious down hill dive now.

Who knows, but I did notice that Seth's mother or other had died and it was a tribute to her.

So...

Maybe she like that style of mystery/tale and he wanted to do a tribute show?

They've done serious stuff before. Well, as serious as FG can be.

Was it the crime/mystery episode? I agree that it wasn't very good. I can't remember if I laughed at any part. Stewie saving Lois at the end seemed strange because they haven't done the "Stewie wants to kill Lois" thing for a long time. I was hoping the season premiere would be the third Star Wars parody but that will probably be the season finale. I heard that this time they are including American Dad/Cleveland Show characters in the parody.

I have to disagree, too.

Except for the sexual fact of Lutero von Martin. That's a valid point.

On topic, I quit watching Family Guy a few years back, when Stewie stopped trying to take over the world. It's been on a steady decline since then.

While I think Family Guy is not as funny as it was when it was first on, this episode was not too bad. It was a tribute to the movie "Murder By Death" on many levels. Plus the animation was top notch for the show, and it was less reliant on the usual potty humor and gay jokes that run rampant on most episodes.

It will probably stick. I don't think we will miss much except for the funny Tom/Diane insults!
