Pakistan's interior minister threatens action on NATO incursions

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- Pakistan's foreign minister said Wednesday his country may use military force to stop violations of its territory.

"We will not allow anyone in any case to interfere in Pakistan's territory and if this continues, we will adopt all the set measures including military action," Rehman Malik told reporters. "I assure you we are quite capable of defending our homeland."

Pakistan has been playing both sides of the fence since this whole thing kicked off. On one hand they want and like US support and arms, then on the other they tend to turn a blind eye to the insurgents who bounce back and forth across their border with Afghanistan.

Now that Paki public opinion is turning against them they are going to call out the US. Meanwhile had they been more proactive instead of their well known sluggish reaction this situation would not have come to this.

Ive said before that Pakistan has been playng both sides fromthe beginning. This only goes to prove I was correct

Pakistan is a nation under CIA control. If a nation falls to a coup, it is the CIA running the show.

So you have to look at what Pakistan does in that light: how does what they do help pursue CIA goals and objectives?

I think Pakistan is close to a Civil War due to the US missile strikes in the
country killing innocent women and children.

I think the Radical Islam folks can use this as fuel on a smoldering fire of anger.

There have already been a few large scale battles, and in years past a few
coup attempts on the former leader of that nation.

With China crossing into their country near Kashmir, the US bombing and
hitting them with missiles I think there is going to be some kind of uprising
at some point.

rethinkafghanistan.com...

The entire Pakistan-occupied western portion of Kashmir stretching from Gilgit in the north to Azad (Free) Kashmir in the south is closed to the world, in contrast to the media access that India permits in the eastern part, where it is combating a Pakistan-backed insurgency. But reports from a variety of foreign intelligence sources, Pakistani journalists and Pakistani human rights workers reveal two important new developments in Gilgit-Baltistan: a simmering rebellion against Pakistani rule and the influx of an estimated 7,000 to 11,000 soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army. China wants a grip on the region to assure unfettered road and rail access to the Gulf through Pakistan. It takes 16 to 25 days for Chinese oil tankers to reach the Gulf. When high-speed rail and road links through Gilgit and Baltistan are completed, China will be able to transport cargo from Eastern China to the new Chinese-built Pakistani naval bases at Gwadar, Pasni and Ormara, just east of the Gulf, within 48 hours.

All it will take is some major event to kick it off.

If China handles the ground war thou Pakistan will eventually lose
thou they may use their nukes, and if they do it will get very ugly.

There are several things going on around the world that are moving us closer to
WW3 than a peaceful world, and this is likely one of them.

China also will push on Japan, Taiwan, and as a distraction nudge North Korea
into action, Houdini would be proud, as would Sun Tzu.

I can't see it coming to that any time soon. China is not finished building up their economy and is too heavily reliant for the time being on trade with the west.

China does not have to move openly, and presently Japan is more than happy
to make the first move by sending troops to the disputed islands between them.

The North Korea issue scaling up is already being spoke of by many analysts,
and I'd like to know if you think they are wrong and why ???

Sending Chinese troops onto Pakistani soil while Pakistan is nearly on the verge of
civil war with some of these Pakistanis wanting the Pakistani government overthrown ???

I think some basic tacticians could see someone trying to use Machiavellian tactics
to get the Chinese engaged with the Pakistani government.

One of these rebel elements could dress up like official Pakistani military
and attack a Chinese oil train and or other various ploys.

This is an unstable situation on multiple fronts.

All that is needed is a bit of deception and it all goes wonky.

I really have to wonder if the Pakistani Interior Minister truly believes the rest of the world is this stupid.

Or even America for that matter.

No wonder Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan are being compared to Vietnam.

This reminds me of the issues with the North Vietnamese crossing the border into Laos to bypass the South Vietnamese with supplies, troops, and movements and it makes me wonder if the analysts in the almost defunct Central Intelligence Agency are not scratching their heads wondering how to stop it or how to exploit it for more funding that gets thrown into a dark hole.

And NATO is made to look like the bad guy when they resemble the little boy with his finger in the dyke.

I grow weary and tired of this nonsense in the Middle East.

I think if Obama does anything resembling Nixon he's out on his keister.

Silent Coup : The Removal of a President

And I will lose no sleep over Obama being tossed out of office either.

Whether it is because of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq or any other reason.

Let us wait and see how NATO handles this nonsense.

Well they better choose sides.

It is something Pakistan should be aware of when choosing

New Delhi, March 13 (ANI): India and Russia inked several pacts including civil nuclear cooperation and supply and joint development of military hardware during a hectic daylong visit of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to New Delhi on Friday. The two countries also upgraded their nuclear co-operation with Russia pledging to build up to 16 nuclear reactors for power stations in India.

Russia will build more than 1,000 stealth fighter jets within four decades, including at least 200 for its traditional weapons buyer India. Russia is also expected a joint venture with the state-run Indian company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited to manufacture around 200 fifth-generation fighter jets.

this is why promises like "we will end the war in " are empty. If a president goes against what the money making CIA/military/billionaire/corporation cabal wants, he is removed. With Kennedy, it was murder. With Nixon, it was impeachment. I guess it pays to be a little dirty, huh? That why they can remove you without having to kill you.

Understood completely.

Unfortunately, it is a misnomer, being a "little dirty".

Either you're "dirty" or you're clean.

People often mistake myself as anti-Government.

This is incorrect completely.

I am anti-corruption within Government.

Yes, I realize that Government and corruption can, and often does walk hand in hand.

But I refuse to be a "little dirty" to be a part of that.

You want to overthrow a dictator like Saddam Hussein?

Use tax money, train the Iraqi's, bring leadership here for college at United States Army War College.

Train their diplomats, teach them how to use and keep an infrastructure, as well as maintenance.

But once it goes beyond that in putting in a Puppet State that is too far.

Quote from : Wikipedia : Puppet State

A puppet state (also puppet government, marionette government) is a nominal sovereign who is, in reality, controlled by a foreign power.

The term refers to a government controlled by the government of another country like a puppeteer controls the strings of a marionette.

A puppet state has also been described as an entity which in fact lacks independence, preserves all the external paraphernalia of independence, but in reality is only an organ of another state who has set it up and whose satellite it is.

Yes, I realize this thread is about Pakistan, but ultimately Saddam Hussein being hunted down allowed our interests in the Middle East to solidify.

I merely used him as an example of a Puppet Dictatorship and McDemocracy.

Democracy is not a franchise license to be given out it has to be earned through blood, sweat, and tears.

McDemocracy : Would You Like Fries With Your Freedom, Sir?

I am wholly against Puppet Dictatorships and always have been.

It is nothing but corruption through deception, manipulation, and covert funding.

Something no American should ever support.
