They don't give a crap about us, our corrupt gov't, and our faulty religions.
They just want us not to endanger all life on Earth and if we do

You'll find the storyline follows par with what you're saying which also just happens to also run true to what the Bible says. Also you may want to watch the film The Book of Eli. Pretty jaw dropping and gives you a film from a different view.

Actually, most aliens think the mass of our population that controls this world *cough Americans cough* are pretty stupid and is one of the reasons why we can't join them at the grown up table, if you know what I mean.
