Worried about opening 'third eye' or 'third chakra'

I was looking through the forums, and came across one about your third eye.
Curious, i you tubed how to open your third chakra, and found a video where people were saying it's worked for them. I also searched the web and people say these meditations do work.
I was pretty keen to do it, until I thought, if it does work, will i suddenly be opening a type of 'void' for spirits to contact me through? will i be getting visited by spirits that I don't want to be visited by?
I have had childhood experiences with ghosts, but they've gone now, which is why I'm a bit scared to do this.

Have anyone done this?
And what is the effect?

I opened my third eye just this morning.. Nothing to worry about, rather relaxing it was too!

If you want spirits you will get them. If you want Aliens you get that. Whatever crap you wish to be deluded with you can have it. It's all on the menu.Does that means these things exist? Not at all.

So to avoid being toyed with I would be very specific about what I want.

If you for example want simply "the Truth" you're in for a hell of a fun ride.

I'm pretty sure he's saying that the whole third eye/third chakra crap is for people who have watched way to much anime and read too much of the fire and ice saga. Meaning, it doesn't exist and is a total waste of time that could otherwise be used on something more productive....like garbage sculpting.

There's nothing wrong looking for aswers, but is best to avoid the nonesense. Your third eye is imagination. It is the eye that can 'imagine' gods, spirits and the rest. It is the only eye we have open at nights when we dream.

Even things you'll see with the active imagination (third eye) are not real in physical word, they are real in spiritual sense. They are your inner daemons, traumas, shadows, animas. Third eye has all perception rods turn inwards. Who is to say, that images inside us aren't real?

PS. Third eye is not third chakra, but it is sixth when counted from down to up. Second when counting top dowm. As above poster said, there's lot of nonesense about our imagination. These people who spread this nonesense will tell you that you experience all kind of fancy from astral travel to other galaxies. Usually they fail to mention that this only happens within your head

Instead of third eye, try remote viewing, telepathy or telekinesis exercise, now that is something realistic.
Third eye is your mind alone, just sleep and you'll get it.

Unfortunately, you are referring the 6th chakras or the third eye with little understanding of what it is. I doubt that it is relaxing since the opening also involves the escalation of other senses as well. How old are you? And why you are interested in the third eye?

Yes, is the consciousness of intent. Physically you aren't going any where. However, you can affect an intent of another being or yourself.

Try "lucid dreaming".

The only connection between our mind and body which I have experienced, and it is damn wonderful.

Just type lucid dreaming in google and you will find much instructions on how to achieve it, it is not much different than heaven.

If you want to experience these beings you will get the illusion that there are these beings. But that is all there is - the illusion of these beings interacting with you. It will appear totally real to you.

This illusion is brought to you from the same source that will show you "how it really works" if you WANT that.

Interesting interpretation

I am not familiar with Anime (not my taste) but as the Truth can be found in everything I am pretty sure watching that could be helpful. And no I don't think it's crap. I personally do not count my chakras - those words have no meaning for me. I would use different words to describe the game.

And to be on topic i wouldn´t recommand anyone to start with the third eye issue...

Its a gateway to your mind. Opening your mind means its open. Know yourself first. If you don't know the difference between your identity and your self, then don't do it. The mind isn't something to be toyed with.

So, you actually think that once you have your third eye, you can perform physical supernatural feats???? Chakras opening is a spiritual, psychic experience and much is happening is within the individual. If you have developed the required consciousness, you can even control and project Chi. You can even use Chi to heal people. Of course, this not happen and can not happen in a day or years.

The 'third eye' is the seventh chakra or the Seventh Church in the Revelation of John rather than the 'third chakra'.

The 'third chakra' and the Third Church of the Revelation of John is the solar plexus, located near the umbilicus (and under the control of the adrenal glands), where "Satan (fear) is entroned" (Revelations 2:13).

Pursuing any teaching, discipline, breathing technique, etc. etc. etc. in order to conjure or receive this vision is not a good idea. It often results in insanity; and is, in any case, condemned as "what the Nicolaitans" are "doing" or "teaching".

what i've learned on the third eye, thought of in science as the pre frontal cortex,

is that it isn't, it is actualy the pineal gland, the very center of your brain, direct reciever of the vision which passes through your eyeballs. the pineal gland is also the same design as an eyeball, cells receptors and everything, so it literaly is a third eye, difference being that this one is inverted, so instead of looking out it looks into itself, imagine a hollow eyeball with it's pupil stareing into its own inner space, thats your pineal gland, your third eye.

whats more the pineal gland is filled with a superconducting fluid, if you know about superconducters you'll realise how fascinating that is, a superconducter can exhibit quantum effects on a macro scale, macro being larger then anything micro, a perfect superconducter gains energy/electricity because we live with electricity all around us all the time, this energy is dispersed onto everything it can, a superconducter effectivly holds onto energy because it is so good at conducting no energy is lost,

so you have within you an eyeball that stares into the quantum battery of itself.

i know without sources all this is my opinion, i've derived this from many sources all scientificaly accredited and i will try to track down all of them for a later posting.


btw the other posters above me are refering to eastern knowledge on the third eye, i agree with also,

im refering here to more of a western perspective, neither are wrong, one is more sense and feel (right side of the brain) while the other is more study and measure (left side of the brain)

we need to balance both for true enlightenment
