To support the request, the mayor (Jose Reyes Ferriz) of Mexico’s most violent city, Ciudad Juarez, pointed out that of 80,000 people deported to his community in the past three years nearly 30,000 had committed serious crimes in the U.S. Around 7,000 had served sentences for rape and 2,000 for murder. The criminal deportees have contributed to the escalating drug-cartel violence in his city, Mayor Ferriz said, so he wants the U.S. to make other arrangements when prison sentences are completed.

Ok, is it me or is this just insane???? These criminals come here illegally and Mexico doesn't want them back and wants us to make 'other arrangements'?

The Obama Administration seems to be heeding to Mexico’s request by openly halting the deportation of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. Additionally, the administration has a “backdoor amnesty” plan to legalize millions of undocumented aliens in case Congress doesn’t pass legislation to do it.

Well the Obama administration can easily comply with this request. After the person has been convicted
of a felony or some "dangerous" crime instead of deporting that person we can just execute them. We can same a fortune on incarcerations. But I suppose that Mexico will complain about this too, after all they complain
when we want to enforce our own immigration laws.

This is beyond insane... it's... It makes me kind of mad. It's absurd. If this sh^t keeps up, sooner or later residents, LEGAL residents of the US will take matters into their own hands. Congrats PTB, it looks like your succeeding.

Now that I think about it, maybe Mexico should enforce stiffer penalties on their criminals to keep them off the streets. That would be killing two birds with one stone, it would keep those from entering the US illegaly as well as keep them off the streets in the country where THEY BELONG.

Mexican official are afraid of the issues that El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala had when the US deported violent citizens of those countries form local jails.

Those countries couldn't do anything about the rising violence, the people deported now had tactical urban training, a hierarchy and a command line, in other words those people where more prepared for the fight than their police were.
Chaos ensued, its settling a bit now in central America, because some of the founding members are senile now, and the younger ones would rather fight in a cartel than in some local unknown gang, even the MS13 is loosing steam.

But in Mexico, well the repatriation of so many finer specimens mankind has to offer would only accelerate its total and complete humiliation in hands of drug cartels left to roam free for so long, in the long run the US knows they will either return as friend or foe once again, and this time causing even more trouble returning with a grudge...

Mexico and the US have bred together some of the finest criminals selling us the walls of our own cage!

I would say Homeland Security could pony up the money for Cremation.

If not Homeland Security, I'm sure some other dept with oodles of our cash would be quite sufficient to handle such things.

I'm curious, just what other 'arrangements' would they want us to make???? How much has it cost us to imprison all these criminals who don't belong here in the first place? These criminals waltz through and do as they please while our government does nothing.

How many more people have to die due to an illegal being here? To know that your family member has been raped or murdered simply because our laws were not enforced is infuriating. Most of the criminals have had previous arrests and deporatations!!! How many more of our children will suffer at the hands of an illegal pedophile? For our own government to have allowed this for so long....

The US proposed some time back to build a jail with US resources within mexican territory, and transfer some of the worst examples, as usual no agreement was reached whatsoever, allegations of sovereignty and international law where waved around in several debate forums.
It will get worse before it gets better, not even scaring the immigrants with promises of terror and death seem to work, simply because they have already lived terror and death in their countries.

Only time will tell, but meanwhile, we have to sort this out as soon as possible.

i'll try and find a link, but i distinctly remember articles from the past which claimed that mexico emptied out some of their prisons and sent their own violent criminals north.

The huge problem in this is that not all criminals are from Mexico, they come from the islands, South America. Mexico isn't the only latin community, but the criminals come through Mexico, and say that is where they are from so they can just turn around and come back. . What is happening is criminals are being shipped to the wrong places. This city can have a valid complaint.

If they are returned, they'll be back in no time.
I think it's fine for us to agree to keep them incarcerated, but I do believe we should send Mexico the bill for the cost of it. If they can't pay it, they get them back.

This is quite possibly the most inhumane, heinous suggestion I have ever heard.

Hmmm, that's true. Then again, if our government would have enforced our immigration laws, we wouldn't be in this predicament.

Good idea!!

Again, if we enforced our laws, we wouldn't have these problems.

Tell Mexico to clean up its own mess. If they don't want them back, too bad! We will just throw them over your border and let them run rampant in your towns.

Keep your people in check, we don't want them nor do we need them.

OMG!!! How dare you spew such racist commentary! This country belonged to Mexico back when the dinosaurs were made extinct by prehistoric SUVs!

Ahem... excuse me. I just couldn't resist because, I know that someone, somewhere will find an excuse why the US should be made to keep illegals and undesirables from Mexico, as well as any other country.
