An Effort to Recapture Democratic Enthusiasm.

It would appear no ones told Obama that he's not as Loved as he use to be.
It appears they are planning to hold a rally and their sure it will be as big as the 2008
rallys.
Will You Be There? If So Care To Tell Us Why?

Since becoming president, Mr. Obama has gone small. Except for a few rallies during the height of the health care debate, the president has largely eschewed stadiums and wide open spaces in favor of smaller town-hall-style meetings or even backyard conversations.

But that is about to change. ( there's that Change Word again )

On Tuesday, the president is scheduled to hold an old-fashioned campaign rally on the campus of the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Party officials said they expected thousands to cram onto Library Mall, an outside setting, to see Mr. Obama.

I can see by your reply you didn't read the thread or you don't understand the thread, but then again, I'll have to assume, you're an Obama follower and you'll be at the rally to cheer or faint for Obama.

I personally don't believe he'll have near the numbers he had in 2008 and I think he'll be disappointed and blame the T. P. instead of blaming his own bad politics and Administration for their fleecing of the Tax payers with Obamas approval.

Tim Kaine, the committee chairman, announced last week that Ben Harper, a blues and folk singer, would help headline the event.

“Kicking off our Moving America Forward events with a college and youth focus in Madison will create momentum as we head into the last five weeks of this critical campaign,” Mr. Kaine said, “and having Ben Harper as part of the lineup on Tuesday is a great way to get things started.”

I believe they'll need more help than a Blues and Folk Singer can give them. I see their looking at the easy to manipulate College students:“Kicking off our Moving America Forward events with a college and youth focus in Madison will create momentum as we head into the last five weeks of this critical campaign,”

Either way you cut it Obama has turned out to be a lame duck president. Where's the change he promised? More importantly where exactly is his leadership (BP anyone?) Its like America has nobody at the wheel...

Well, one of his latest rallies they had to beg people to come because they could not fill the auditorium.

The reason they are holding it in Madison, that is one of the bastions of progressive/communist rhetoric.

Some are familiar with the connection to Obama, just google Madison, Obama, Crime Inc and you will find the connection.

I wish he would keep his progressive crap out of my Republic.

I am sure no wide spread video shots, they will all be close ups. Notice how they do that when they do not want to show how small a crowd is or how large a crowd is.

Anyway, I hope there is a job left in Madison when he leaves, it is like a jobs vacuum where ever he goes.

obama and his continual campaigning i wonder if people would have stop to acutally think how much money do all those events cost the us taxpayer- millions and hes done this for the last 2 years just about.

i actually do think hes spent more time on vacation and on the campaign trail that actually in that oval office.

rallies can become a bad thing too when people get angry they tend to throw things i can see some estranged

blind followers of obama acutally throwing eggs at obama and if biden would have been there joe would have said " hey barrack you got egg on your face". and barrack promptly replies shut up joe you moron.

I wanted to add, the TWO largest political rallies since the inauguration, will not include this one.

The two I am talking about had about 1 million and 800,000 respectively.

What are they going to have at this one 20k.

edit to add-sorry, the second rally was a call to honor.

You're Correct,, This event will cost more of our tax dollars than it's going to be worth.
It was mentioned in a post just above you, Obama is in the Bastion of Progressive Liberal Country and their thinking is,,,, it'll be a large showing and people will think Obama he still important, but they won't understand that is Obama land and those are his devoted followers with some brain dead starry eyed college kids.

Had to stop back and drop this nice cookie off for everyone.

Democrats fear Midwestern meltdown

Been reading a lot on the larger sites and getting a feel of the comments.

Even on slightly left of middle sites you are getting complete blow outs in the comments. I think the numbers put forth on the elections are way off. I do not see where these polls are coming from. Just read the comments to the articles. This is like the opposite of what it was like during 08. Even worse in my opinion.

In the article linked, Obama has visited Madison 6 times since he has been in office. From what I see in the polls here and what I have heard, Wisconsin once the stalwart of liberal idiocy, is moving right big time.

A snippet-

From Ohio to Iowa, there’s a yawning stretch of heartland states whose citizens voted for Obama and congressional Democrats in 2008, but who have lost patience waiting for an as-yet undelivered economic revival that was first promised in 2006, and then two years later. Now, they look set to stampede toward the out-of-power party.

“If the election was today the party would almost certainly lose the Governorships it holds in Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. It's also more than likely at this point to lose the Senate seats it has in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Indiana, miss out on a once promising pick up opportunity in Ohio, and quite possibly lose their seat in Illinois as well. And there are too many House seats the party could lose in the region to count,” Jensen noted.

Surely you mean his largest rally, as Beck clearly can wipe him out in sheer numbers. Wow, whodathunk the great orator himself would be outdone by Beck......you know, the one liberals on here call a loser etc........seems to me without a teleprompter Beck still kicks Obamas behind.........Obama must not know he won, if he's still campaigning two years later. S&F for you

Thanks for stopping back by, I was reading that also, but I'm glad you added it to this thread, Because you know as well as me, their afraid.

It's their own fault like it was the Republicans fault before them.
I believe the votes are going to tell a story this time around for the Progressive Liberal and they are going to have to listen to the people.
